Packers rookie TE D.J. Williams hasn't played a snap since lining up incorrectly against the Vikings three weeks ago.
Williams' gaffe caused a frustrated Aaron Rodgers to burn a timeout. His playing time was already on the wane since Andrew Quarless returned from a knee injury in Week 7, and he's been inactive in each of the past two games.

Packers selected Arkansas TE D.J. Williams with the No. 141 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
Too small for the traditional tight-end mold at 6'2/236, Williams won't see much time as a blocker in the NFL. On the positive side, he has outstanding vertical speed and athleticism to go with a highly productive college career. The 2010 John Mackey Award winner has drawn comparisons to Dustin Keller on the high end, but he's more along the lines of Travis Beckum as an H-back type. Don't look for a high snap count in Green Bay, but he's another weapon Mike McCarthy to mix and match depending on situation and opponent.

The Dolphins' presence at Arkansas' Pro Day workout Tuesday is reportedly due to interest in TE D.J. Williams more so than QB Ryan Mallett.
If the Fins are truly smitten with the 2010 John Mackey Award winner, they're doing a poor job of hiding it. This is the second national story this month pointing out their interest, and the local papers have dropped hints as well. Williams could be a third-round target as Anthony Fasano's successor.

The Dolphins may target Arkansas TE D.J. Williams in next month's draft.
The winner of last season's John Mackey award as college football's best tight end, Williams posted a 4.59 40 at the NFL Combine. Undersized at 6-foot-2, 236 pounds, he's drawing comparisons to New York's Dustin Keller. Williams would be a solid mid-round target for Miami.

Already running four days a week, Green has graduated to "a little bit" of cutting. He's stayed ahead of schedule in his rehab all offseason. "My speed is picking up daily," Green said. "I'm definitely excited with where I'm at."

Packers coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged that TE Andrew Quarless (ACL, MCL surgery) will be "challenged" to be ready for training camp.
Quarless is a candidate to open the season on the PUP list. "Andrew, just from a timetable standpoint, is a question mark," McCarthy admitted. The Packers' top three tight ends to open the year should be Jermichael Finley, Tom Crabtree, and D.J. Williams. Quarless could reenter the mix around midseason.
