Signed off the practice squad in Week 2, Barnes ended up appearing in 15 games, but played just one snap on offense. A special teamer and blocker, McNeill caught four passes across 14 games.

Rams promoted C Tim Barnes from their practice squad.
24-year-old Barnes is a former undrafted free agent out of Mizzou. He's an insurance policy with Scott Wells (fractured foot) out until at least midseason.

Rams signed C Tim Barnes to a reserve/future contract.
An undrafted free agent out of Missouri in 2011, Barnes bounced around practice squads in his "rookie" year. He'll have an outside chance at a roster spot in 2012. The Rams are likely to overhaul their offensive line this offseason.

Suspended
Isaiah Pead's one-game suspension stems from a July 2012 arrest for possession of two ounces of marijuana.
The details of Pead's one-game ban initially went undisclosed as neither the NFL nor its players are under any obligation to explain suspensions. Coach Jeff Fisher has publicly supported Pead, who is almost a year removed from the violation and insists he's in a better place "mentally" after a lost rookie year.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks had his right knee scoped last month.
Kendricks was dealing with swelling in his knee and decided to have it cleaned out. The former second-round pick showed up on the injury report a couple of times last season with a knee injury, but he didn't miss a game. With Jared Cook in town, Kendricks is expected to focus on blocking in 2013. He's sitting out OTAs, but he should be ready for training camp.
