Rams re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Mike McNeill to a one-year, $555,000 contract.
The 2011 undrafted free agent appeared in 14 games last season, catching four passes while playing 155 snaps, primarily as a blocker. He'll have to re-earn his roster spot this summer.

Rams signed TE Mike McNeill, formerly of the Colts.
Shuffled back-and-forth between the Colts' practice squad and active roster this season, McNeill failed to make a catch in four games. His snaps should be mostly limited to special teams in St. Louis.

McNeill has been an H-back/fullback for the Colts this year, appearing in four games. He'll likely resurface on the practice squad after clearing waivers.

McNeill was just waived on Tuesday, so the Colts must not have liked something they heard about Dallas Clark (leg) or Brody Eldridge's (hand) health the past few days. A rookie out of Nebraska, McNeill has zero catches in three games.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks had his right knee scoped last month.
Kendricks was dealing with swelling in his knee and decided to have it cleaned out. The former second-round pick showed up on the injury report a couple of times last season with a knee injury, but he didn't miss a game. With Jared Cook in town, Kendricks is expected to focus on blocking in 2013. He's sitting out OTAs, but he should be ready for training camp.
