Eagles first-round pick Fletcher Cox has seen some snaps at defensive end in rookie minicamp.
At an unusually svelte 6-foot-4, 298 pounds for a defensive tackle, Cox is expected to kick out to end in some pass-rushing situations. Cox played both positions in college, and shouldn't struggle with being moved around.

Eagles DL coach Jim Washburn confirmed that No. 12 overall pick Fletcher Cox will "jump right into the rotation we’ve got and start playing."
"When God made him, he meant him to play in this system right here," gushed Washburn. "He's the biggest 296-pounder I've ever seen. He's just sudden, he's quick. He's just really athletic." Coach Andy Reid expects Cox to "anchor down at tackle," but also rush from the end spot depending on situation.

Eagles traded up with the Seahawks to select Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Philadelphia surrenders pick No. 114 and a sixth-round selection to move up three spots, but Cox is certainly worth the price. A true penetrating three-technique, Cox does his best work disrupting upfield with low pad level and excellent burst. He still has a long way to go technique wise, infrequently using his length to his advantage, but Cox's relentless motor is invaluable. This is a perfect fit for the Eagles' aggressive, upfield defense.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirms that the Eagles "really covet" Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox.
Reports out of Philly since early in the draft process have hinted the same thing. While the price would undoubtedly be "steep," the Eagles may try to execute a trade up into the top seven or eight picks in order to acquire Cox before the Panthers go on the board. The cost to do so might be a second-round pick. The Eagles have two second-rounders (46, 51), so ammo isn't an issue.

Brent Celek (shoulder and hernia surgeries) "(didn't) look that limited" at Eagles OTAs on Tuesday.
The Eagles have been mum on Celek's status other than revealing he will see "limited reps" in June's minicamp, but it sounds like earlier concerns about his recovery were overblown. Celek recently proclaimed that he "felt better than I have probably in the last three of four years," and should be at or near 100 percent for camp. He believes he was injured for perhaps two years before going under the knife.
