Paul Byron believes the Montreal Canadiens can compete for a Stanley Cup.
The Canadiens got off to a great 9-0 start last season, but they collapsed after Carey Price injured his knee. "What excites me about playing on this team is that with our core group, we can beat any team in the league. We can compete for the Stanley Cup," said Byron. "No one really picked Pittsburgh to win it last year. You watch what they did in the playoffs, and that could be us this time around. That's my motivating factor, for sure." With a healthy Price anything's possible, but the Canadiens still have multiple question marks surrounding their roster in 2016-17. Aug 31 - 7:04 PM
