Mike Modano has been selected as part of the 2014 Hockey Hall of Fame class.
Modano was never the most dominant player in the league. He only finished in the top-10 in the NHL scoring race three times and he never finished higher than eighth. However, he managed to record at least 70 points in all but four seasons from 1989-90 through 2005-06. It was that level of consistency that allowed him to finish with an incredible 1,374 points in 1,499 games, which is good for 23rd place on the all-time points list. He also won the Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999. Jun 23 - 3:28 PM
