Jacques Martin's role with the Pittsburgh Penguins will be changing a bit as he moves upstairs.
Martin has been an assistant the last two season, primarily as a scout and adviser. He previously helped the Penguins game plan as a pre-scout, noting tendencies, strengths and weaknesses of individual players. Which was in addition to help assess the opponent's team play. Now Martin will be moving upstairs to be their "eye in the sky", and focus more on in-game adjustments. "I’m really looking forward to it," Martin said. "Being closer to the team and provide feedback, use my experience from over the years, just giving them another opinion." Martin has over 30 years of NHL coaching experience, and will no doubt be able to help give Pittsburgh a considerable edge. Tue, Jun 16, 2015 05:28:00 PM
