Frederik Andersen allowed six goals on 35 shots in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Boston Bruins in Game 7.
Despite leading 1-0 and 2-1 in the first period, the Leafs went into the intermission trailing 3-2. Andersen bounced back in the second frame, as he turned aside all 13 shots he faced in the period. Things unraveled in the third though. Andersen allowed a pair of weak goals to Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk, which allowed Boston to take a 5-4 lead. Unfortunately for the Leafs, they never recovered. Andersen finished the postseason with a 3.76 goals-against average and .896 save percentage. The 28-year-old was brilliant at times during this series, but he also allowed some weak goals along the way. Apr 25 - 11:06 PM
