The Blackhawks controlled 56.04 percent of the shot attempts when Saad was on the ice during 5-on-5 situations. Saad's shooting percentage at 5-on-5 dropped to 6.68 after he had an average of 8.93 going into the season. He picked up 18 goals and 35 points in 82 contests. He has 27 goals and 74 points in 79 games this season. Kane has only been held off the scoresheet three times in his last 11 games. Before the game, DeBrincat talked about wanting to "crush (St. Louis') hopes," and he did just that. The Blackhawks found themselves down 3-1 in the second period, but they managed to score the next three goals to come away with a victory. DeBrincat's tally at the 8:30 mark of the third frame tied the at three. He also registered the primary assist on Duncan Keith's power-play goal (4-3) with nine seconds remaining in regulation. Little plays, you know our habits — we've got to get back to that." Keith, who will turn 35 this summer, struggled defensively and offensively.
