LeSean McCoy (questionable, ribs) travelled with the team to Minnesota.

It puts him on track to play Sunday. McCoy practiced with a non-contact jersey this week, but this is a pain tolerance issue he should play through. At less than 100 percent with a matchup against the Vikings run defense, McCoy is an easy shy-away for Week 3.

Giants WR/KR Kaelin Clay (ankle) is out for Week 3 against the Texans.

Clay surprisingly didn't travel with the team to Houston after practicing in full on Friday. Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard could reportedly handle some punt returns with WR Cody Latimer continuing his duties as the New York's primary kick returner.
Sep 22 - 1:10 PM

Steelers CB Artie Burns (questionable, toe) may not start in Week 3 against the Buccaneers.

Burns' toe isn't the issue, as he's fully expected to play despite being listed as questionable on Pittsburgh's injury report. Coty Sensabaugh received first-team reps in practice on Saturday and could outright start ahead of Burns. The Steelers will at least have Joe Haden (hamstring) back in what's expected to be a shootout against the Bucs Monday night.
Sep 22 - 1:06 PM

Steelers RG David DeCastro (broken hand) is out for Week 3 against the Buccaneers.

Coach Mike Tomlin gave DeCastro a chance to return earlier in the week but he won't be ready. B.J. Finney will continue to fill in. RT Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) additionally considers himself a game-time decision for Monday night. G Ramon Foster (knee) and CB Joe Haden (hamstring) were full participants in practice this week and should be ready to go against the Bucs.
Sep 22 - 12:46 PM

Chris Godwin (toe) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Steelers.

Godwin's toe injury was never considered to be anything serious, and Auman noted the second-year pro "looked fine" when media watched him in practice. Godwin will still likely get slapped with the 'questionable' tag when the Bucs release their injury report. Consider him probable for Monday night against the Steelers.
Sep 22 - 11:46 AM

Buccaneers first-round DT Vita Vea (calf) practiced Saturday.

Vea resumed practicing for the first time in over a month on Thursday, and took to the field again Saturday during the 30-minute portion that was open to the media. He's still considered doubtful for Monday night against the Steelers, but doesn't appear too far off.
Sep 22 - 11:29 AM

Redskins released WR Breshad Perriman.

Paul Richardson (shoulder, knee) remains questionable for Sunday, but even that wasn't enough to keep Perriman in Washington. The Redskins took a no-risk flier on him just last week that clearly didn't work out. We expect he'll still find a home elsewhere soon.
Sep 22 - 9:56 AM

Colts added TE Erik Swoope from their practice squad.

The Colts will have Eric Ebron, Swoope, and Ryan Hewitt (primarily a blocking tight end) available Sunday with Jack Doyle (hip) out. Swoope’s 2017 campaign was derailed due to a nagging knee injury, but he finished top-five among all tight ends in yards per catch (19.8) when healthy the year prior. Sunday still sets up terrifically for Ebron, who should seamlessly replace Doyle in a full-time role. Doyle has quietly run the most routes (81) among all tight ends so far this year, giving Ebron a high floor (if only for his inevitable usage), as well.
Sep 22 - 9:49 AM

Eagles LT Jason Peters (quad) is questionable for Week 3 against the Colts.

Peters was limited all week. He should play but isn't 100 percent. The Eagles can't afford to not have Peters with Carson Wentz making his 2018 debut.
Sep 21 - 9:04 PM

Rams RG Jamon Brown isn't expected to start in Week 3.

Brown was activated from his two game suspension, but he's returning in a backup role after starting all 16 games last year. The Rams are moving forward with Austin Blythe at right guard.
Sep 21 - 9:00 PM

49ers LB Reuben Foster said returning from his two-game suspension is "like a holiday."

"Just knowing I can come back and play the game I love," Foster said. "So I’m just happy to be playing the cards right and doing good off the field and on the field, and doing nothing off the field so I won’t be off the field again." With Malcolm Smith (hamstring) set to return from injury, the 49ers' linebacking corps suddenly looks like a strength.
Sep 21 - 8:57 PM

Steelers RT Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) did not practice Friday.

He also sat out Thursday's session with a hamstring injury he picked up in Week 2. RG David DeCastro also missed both practices with a broken hand. The Steelers badly need a win on Monday night, but they might have to do it without the right side of their offensive line.
Sep 21 - 8:51 PM

Ryan Tannehill was taken off the Week 3 injury report.

Tannehill was listed with knee/ankle injures this week but didn't miss any practice time. Playing against a Raiders secondary that's been better than expected, Tannehill is a low-ceiling QB2 for Week 3.
Sep 21 - 8:49 PM

Evan Engram (ankle) was removed from the Giants' Week 3 injury report.

Engram got in a full Friday practice after being limited to open the week. His Week 3 status was never in doubt. Engram will play his normal snaps against the Texans.
Sep 21 - 8:45 PM

DeAndre Washington (knee) is not listed on the Week 3 injury report.

Washington is healthy enough to return, but that does not mean he will be active with Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin, and Jalen Richard all ahead of him on the depth chart. He can be left on the wire in redraft leagues.
