Free agent Eric Decker is visiting the Saints on Tuesday.

Decker mostly disappointed last season with the Titans, but he was considerably more involved down the stretch and in the playoffs, showing he still has something left in the tank. Able to play both outside and in the slot, he would be a good fit with the Saints, who need help behind Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn.
Mar 20 - 11:53 AM

Colts signed Ryan Grant, formerly of the Redskins, to a one-year, $5 million contract.

The news comes from ex-Packers receiver James Jones, who is breaking news faster than Adam Schefter these days. The deal is considerably less than Grant would have made in Baltimore, but he will get a shot to hit free agency again next spring. Grant is a solid receiver who will help fill out the Colts' paper-thin receiving corps, but they still could use more help. As it stands, T.Y. Hilton, Chester Rogers, and Grant top the depth chart.

Cowboys acquired FB Jamize Olawale from the Raiders.

The Cowboys are swapping their fifth-round pick for Oakland's sixth-rounder in the deal. Dallas needed a fullback after losing Keith Smith, who signed with the Raiders in free agency.
Mar 20 - 11:11 AM

Redskins coach Jay Gruden said there is a "good possibility" the team selects a running back early in the draft.

Washington just selected Samaje Perine in the fourth round of last year's draft, but they are apparently looking for a better partner for Chris Thompson. The 13th overall pick is too late to nab Saquon Barkley and probably too early to select any of the other running backs, but the Redskins could look to grab someone in the second round. USC's Ronald Jones and the Georgia duo of Sony Michel and Nick Chubb could be options then.
Mar 20 - 10:39 AM

Jaguars released Allen Hurns.

The move saves $7 million against the cap. The writing was on the wall for Hurns after the Jaguars gave Donte Moncrief a one-year, $9.6 million contract. Hurns was probably overpaid in Jacksonville, but he is a solid receiver who should have no trouble finding a new home. The Jaguars will move forward with Marqise Lee, Moncrief, Dede Westbrook, and Keelan Cole atop the depth chart.
Mar 20 - 10:16 AM

Free agent DB Jaylen Watkins will visit the 49ers on Wednesday.

Originally a restricted free agent, Watkins went untendered by the Eagles. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the defensive back has a few more visits lined up after the 49ers. Watkins offers depth at both safety and corner.
Mar 20 - 9:55 AM

Bears re-signed LB John Timu.

Timu has started nine games over the last three seasons, but he is primarily a special teamer. He should compete for a similar role in camp.
Mar 20 - 9:46 AM

The St. Paul Pioneer Press' Chris Tomasson reports Vikings C Pat Elflein (ankle) "should be able" to get in some work during OTAs.

Elflein suffered a broken ankle in the playoffs which ultimately required surgery. Recovery from ankle injuries can be tricky, but it sounds like Elflein's is on track. At worst, he should be ready for camp.

Ravens DT Brandon Williams is dealing with a degenerative eye disorder.

Called keratoconus, the disorder results in a progressive thinning of the cornea which affects vision and can eventually lead to blindness if untreated. Williams had surgery to repair his left eye before the 2017 season, and he underwent the procedure on his right eye this month. Thankfully, it does not appear the condition will affect him on the football field moving forward.

Free agent NT Sylvester Williams is visiting the Redskins on Tuesday.

Williams was released by the Titans over the weekend, but that had more to do with his salary than level of play. In desperate need of a real nose tackle, Williams would be a good get for Washington.
Mar 20 - 9:30 AM

Bills re-signed LB Ramon Humber to a one-year, $1.005 million contract.

Humber played 569 mostly replacement-level snaps on defense for the Bills last season, but he has primarily been a special teamer in the NFL. He will likely return to that role this season.
Mar 20 - 8:58 AM

Steelers signed S Morgan Burnett, formerly of the Packers.

Pittsburgh needed help at safety after cutting both Mike Mitchell and Robert Golden, and Burnett was arguably the best available option in what has been an extremely slow moving market. Burnett should settle in as the starter opposite Sean Davis.
Mar 20 - 8:46 AM

Colts signed TE Eric Ebron, formerly of the Lions, to a two-year contract.

Ebron can earn up to $15 million over the course of the deal; it's a nice haul for the former No. 10 overall pick who was cut by the Lions last week before his $8 million-plus salary became guaranteed. In Indy, Ebron gives the Colts a pair of capable tight ends -- along with Jack Doyle -- for new coach Frank Reich and OC Nick Sirianni, who both come from offenses in Philly and San Diego/L.A. where multiple-tight end sets were an offensive staple.
Mar 19 - 8:57 PM

Jets OLB Dylan Donahue also faces DUI charges in Montana stemming from a May 2017 arrest.

Donahue was busted nine days after he was picked in the fifth round of last year's draft when he flipped his vehicle and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.137. Donahue, of course, was just arrested for his second DUI in less than a year last month when he drove the wrong way down the Lincoln Tunnel in NY/NJ and crashed head-on with a bus. He may not be long for the NFL.
Mar 19 - 8:53 PM

Jets signed LB Brandon Copeland, formerly of the Lions.

Copeland missed all of last season with a torn pectoral. He played in all 16 games for Detroit the previous season and will likely focus on special teams.
