Draymond Green hit just 1-of-6 field goals for two points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three steals and six turnovers in 33 minutes in Tuesday's opening win against the Thunder.
Green's scoring will be a buzzkill all year, but he does enough of everything else to be a fantasy maniac. Both teams looked a bit rusty tonight, but Green's shot will be better than this on most nights. If you drafted him, rest assured that the shooting percentage will rise, and this may be his season high for turnovers this year. Oct 17 - 1:32 AM

JaVale McGee will start in Game 2 against the Cavaliers on Sunday.

He started the second half of Game 1 and logged six minutes, scored four points, grabbed a board and got a block. This is McGee's first start since May 4th in the second round against the Pelicans. With Kevon Looney not playing lights out, he could be in the starting lineup until Andre Iguodala (leg) returns. McGee will start alongside Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
Jun 3 - 7:27 PM

Kevon Looney will continue to start along with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson in Game 1 on Thursday.

He remains in the starting lineup while Andre Iguodala is still out. Looney will probably continue to hover around 20 minutes for Game 1.
May 31 - 8:50 PM

Kevin Durant scored 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting in Monday's Game 7 win over the Rockets.

KD added five rebounds, five assists, three blocks, one steal and five triples, bouncing back after a few rough games -- he shot a combined 23-for-63 in Games 4-6. KD wasn't even at his best tonight until he turned it on in the second half, so maybe that's a sign of things to come against LeBron James and the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. Klay Thompson was in foul trouble most of the night but still put up 19 points with three boards, one assist, two steals and three triples, while Draymond Green added 10 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block.
May 28 - 11:41 PM

Kevon Looney finished a loss vs. Utah on Sunday with six points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 24 minutes.

Draymond Green was sidelined by an illness but he could return as soon as Tuesday's home game vs. the Pacers. The Warriors don't have much incentive to play their key guys, considering Steve Kerr said the Warriors are "going to be the No. 2 seed," but there's no reason to own Looney for more than situational defensive stats.
Mar 26 - 12:02 AM

Jordan Bell had six points on 3-of-4 shooting, four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 18 minutes of action on Sunday.

Bell started Friday's game in place of Draymond Green, but tonight it was Kevon Looney who got the starting nod. The Warriors are relying on depth to compensate for a rash of recent injuries, but Green was only out tonight because of an illness. As long as he's day-to-day, most owners can ignore Bell and Looney. If the Warriors opt to rest Draymond at some point, though, Bell has superior per-minute upside.
Mar 25 - 11:50 PM

Jordan Bell will shift to the Warriors' bench on Sunday.

Draymond Green (illness) is out again but unlike Friday's game vs. the Hawks, it will be Kevon Looney and JaVale McGee starting in the frontcourt. Bell should still get solid minutes in Green's absence, even if he is coming off the bench.
Mar 25 - 7:05 PM

Kevon Looney will start Sunday's game in place of Draymond Green (illness).

Jordan Bell should still see extended minutes off the bench, and Looney has shown enough during his fill-in starts to be worth a look as a temporary fantasy option.
Mar 25 - 7:03 PM

Jordan Bell (right ankle) came off the bench with six points, three boards, two assists, one steal and one block in 18 minutes vs. the Lakers on Wednesday.

Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) was out tonight but coach Steve Kerr wanted to play it safe with Bell in his first game back from the ankle sprain. We'll let you know if Bell carves out enough playing time to warrant a pickup in standard leagues.
Mar 15 - 1:57 AM

Kevon Looney is starting Wednesday's game in place of Draymond Green (shoulder).

This is Looney's first start of the season, but most owners should leave him on the wire since Green is just day-to-day with shoulder soreness.
Mar 14 - 8:56 PM

Kevin Durant (left hand contusion) is questionable to play Thursday against the Mavericks.

This seems like an extremely minor issue for KD, but with a matchup against the 17-37 Mavericks, it wouldn't be all that shocking if he were to hit the sidelines. If Durant sits out Thursday's game, it'll either be Andre Iguodala or Omri Casspi drawing the start, with more minutes falling to Nick Young and Draymond Green (dental work). Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would also see a spike in usage.
Feb 7 - 7:41 PM

Stephen Curry (right shoulder soreness) struggled in Tuesday's 129-99 blowout loss to the Jazz, scoring 14 points with five assists, two rebounds and one triple in 30 minutes.

Curry hit just 4-of-13 shots, but he wasn't the only Warrior who struggled -- Kevin Durant had 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting and called this his worst game of the season, while Draymond hit 3-of-11 shots for eight points. Curry's shoulder issue is very minor and he was coming off a 49-point outing, so we'll chalk this up as an off night. Expect him to bounce back vs. the Kings on Friday.
Jan 31 - 12:32 AM

Stephen Curry (ankle) will start Saturday vs. the Raptors.

Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Zaza Pachulia will join Curry in the starting five tonight, and there's been no word on a minutes limit, so owners can feel free to throw him out there for tonight's game. With Curry back in the starting five, Patrick McCaw will return to the bench, and he'll lose most his appeal with the Dubs' stars all healthy.
Jan 13 - 6:55 PM

Stephen Curry (knee), Draymond Green (knee) and Andre Iguodala (hip, knee) will be available to play Monday vs. the Nuggets.

All these guys were being listed as probable, so it's safe to assume that they'll all be out there tonight. Curry and Green should see a slight uptick in usage with Kevin Durant (calf) watching from the sidelines, while Iguodala will have another opportunity to start.
Jan 8 - 3:20 PM

Jordan Bell had four points, five assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block in 26 minutes as the Warriors defeated the visiting Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Without Draymond Green (shoulder) and Zaza Pachulia (shoulder), Bell again faced minimal competition for playing time. He may not help fantasy owners once those guys are both healthy, but his upside is glaringly obvious. On a per-36-minute basis, the second-round pick is averaging 13.1 points, 9.1 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.7 steals and 3.3 blocks. Dynasty owners, take note.
Thu, Dec 21, 2017 03:13:00 AM

Zaza Pachulia (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers.

This will be Pachulia's second straight game on the sidelines after aggravating the shoulder injury in a five-minute stint on Wednesday, and for now we'll be considering him questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks. JaVale McGee typically starts against more traditional frontcourts, but with Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) out for Portland, they might go small which could result in Jordan Bell earning the starting nod. Draymond Green also figures to log heavy minutes tonight.
Mon, Dec 11, 2017 02:19:00 PM

Stephen Curry (right hand contusion), Kevin Durant (ankle) and Draymond Green (foot) are being listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Kings.

None of these guys are dealing with a significant injury, but with a matchup against the 5-14 Kings, head coach Steve Kerr could elect to give his stars the night off. If all these guys are out, we'll likely see Shaun Livingston, Omri Casspi and Jordan Bell move into the starting group, and Bell would make for a very attractive DFS target after going off in his previous start. Stay tuned.
Sun, Nov 26, 2017 03:49:00 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) said he felt good after going through shootaround and that he plans to play Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

KD showed up at Chesapeake Energy Arena 45 minutes prior to shootaround to get in some on-court work and was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, so he's essentially a lock to play tonight. With Durant back in the fold, Omri Casspi will head back to the bench and there won't be quite as many shots to go around for Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
Wed, Nov 22, 2017 01:15:00 PM

Stephen Curry (thigh) is probable to play Thursday vs. the Celtics.

Curry got in a full practice on Tuesday and looked fine, so it's should only be a one-game absence for the two-time MVP with this minor thigh issue. With Curry back in action, Shaun Livingston will shift back to the second unit, and the usage of Draymond Green and Klay Thompson will take a minor hit.
Tue, Nov 14, 2017 03:10:00 PM

Stephen Curry (right thigh contusion) is "very, very, very unlikely to play" Monday vs. the Magic, according to Warriors' Insider Monte Poole.

The Dubs are so stacked that they can afford to have their stars take a night off here and there without significantly diminishing their chances of pulling off a win, and with Curry not making it through shootaround and Golden State calling up Quinn Cook from the G-League, it's looking like the two-time MVP will be watching from the sidelines tonight. Shaun Livingston will draw the start if Curry sits, and guys like Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will see an uptick in usage.
Mon, Nov 13, 2017 02:49:00 PM

Stephen Curry hit 7-of-15 shots, 2-of-10 3-pointers and 13-of-13 free throws on his way to 29 points, two rebounds, eight assists, four steals and six turnovers in Monday's 133-103 win over the Mavericks.

Just another day at the office for Curry, although the six TOs were a season high, as were the four steals. After two early losses this season the Warriors needed a game like this to get back on track. Draymond Green flirted with a low-scoring triple-double, Kevin Durant had 25-8-6 and Klay Thompson added 21 points with three 3-pointers in the easy win. They'll try to build a winning streak when they host the Raptors on Wednesday.
