Victor Oladipo earned rave reviews from teammates during voluntary workouts this summer.
Oladipo invited the team to work out with him in Miami this summer and all of them came away impressed. His backcourt mate, Darren Collison, raved about his confidence this year compared to last. TJ Leaf said his ball-handling is improved. Doug McDermott, who played with him with the Thunder, is impressed by his body transformation. Oladipo exploded last year and seems determined to reach another level this year, making him a tantalizing option in the early rounds of drafts. Sep 20 - 5:51 PM

Nate McMillan is reportedly finalizing a contract extension with the Pacers.

McMillan has done an admirable job in Indiana, coaching the team to a 48-win season last year, which was good enough for the No. 5 seed out East. He did an excellent job of putting Victor Oladipo in situations where he could truly showcase his skill set, and his Pacers' team took the Cavs to Game 7 in the first-round.

Myles Turner was bogged down by fouls on Sunday, playing 23 minutes to finish with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting, three rebounds, one steal and one turnover.

Turner was hot from the field and drained 3-of-4 triples, and it's a shame he couldn't stay on the court longer. Backup big man Domantas Sabonis was terrific, but the Pacers still lost 104-100 to even the series at two games each. Turner's foul trouble is the latest culprit in a series that's defied easy fantasy value, with Victor Oladipo the only Pacers player inside the top-50 for DFS production this postseason. He's followed by Bojan Bogdanovic (No. 52), Thaddeus Young (No. 55), Turner (No. 63) and Darren Collison (No. 65). Tread carefully.

Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) will play Monday vs. Milwaukee.

Bogdanovic will start and he'll be joined by the usuals: Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Thaddeus Young, Myles Turner. Nate McMillan did say that Bogdanovic still isn't quite 100 percent healthy, so DFS players might want to avoid him.
Jan 8 - 5:25 PM

Pacers coach Nate McMillan hinted that he might shake things up if his starting lineup continues to struggle to begin games.

"We haven't had that energy at certain positions in the first group," McMillan said. "If we're not getting that, then we'll give some other guys an opportunity." During Indiana's five-game losing streak, the Pacers' worst net ratings belong to Thaddeus Young (-33.6), Darren Collison (-28.3), Bojan Bogdanovic (-21.9), Lance Stephenson (-21.6) and Myles Turner (20.9). It's not entirely clear which starters McMillan might be upset with, but it will be a moot point if they start winning again with Victor Oladipo (knee) nearing a return.

Lance Stephenson started for Victor Oladipo (right knee) on Sunday, posting five points on 2-of-9 shooting, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

Stephenson played 22 minutes and he'll have the ball in his hands a lot if Oladipo misses more games. The bad news is that Indiana only plays twice next week, Wednesday and Saturday, and Oladipo is currently day-to-day with soreness and swelling. Still, if you picked up Stephenson it makes sense to hold him until Oladipo has a clear return date.

The Pacers lost their fourth straight game on Sunday, despite Joe Young scoring a career-high 20 points with three 3-pointers, five rebounds and two assists.

Young made 7-of-11 FGs and 3-of-3 FTs in 24 minutes tonight, as the bench provided a bright spot in an otherwise dreary loss to the visiting Wolves. The third-year guard is making the most of his playing time while Victor Oladipo (knee) is unavailable, but there's no reason to touch him outside of the deepest formats.

Cory Joseph will be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, with Darren Collison (knee) unavailable.

Joseph has been on a hot streak over the past three with averages of 10.3 points, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.7 triples and just 0.7 turnovers per game in 25.3 minutes per contest, so he'll make for a solid streamer or DFS punt play tonight with his minutes likely to increase to the mid-30s. Victor Oladipo will also likely have the rock in his hands more often sans Collison.

Serge Ibaka finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, one steal, and one block on 5-of-10 shooting in 27 minutes on Friday.

Ibaka also had five fouls and zero contributions from distance, so this is a pretty hollow line. Unfortunately, that's become more of an expectation than a surprise for some period of time now, and there is no evidence to suggest that's about to change anytime in the near future. Drafting Ibaka over names like Victor Oladipo, Clint Capela, and Aaron Gordon is already a regrettable move.

Lance Stephenson got hot with the shot on Friday, finishing 7-of-9 from the field—including 4-of-4 from behind the 3-point line—for 18 points, seven rebounds, five turnovers and nothing else in a win over the Raptors.

Sometimes, Lance gets hot, and this was one of those nights for the enigmatic hooper, who benefited from Victor Oladipo (knee) sitting down the stretch. In terms of fantasy value, you're best off looking elsewhere, but we'll keep you posted on Stephenson's role in case Dipo is forced to miss any time.

Myles Turner (rest) will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's preseason finale against Haifa Maccabi Haifa.

The Pacers will roll out their standard starting five featuring Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thaddeus Young and Turner for their final game of the preseason, and that should be the same lineup they use on opening night. Turner looks poised for a breakout season with the departure of Paul George and Oladipo is one of our favorite bounce-back candidates.

The Pacers are resting four starters on Monday vs. the Pistons including Myles Turner.

Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic and Thaddeus Young are also resting, while Darren Collison is only expected to play about 12 minutes. The Pacers also picked up their fourth-year option on Turner, but that's just a formality for one of the NBA's most promising young centers.
