Dak Prescott completed 20-of-27 passes for 179 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Cowboys' 28-6, Week 12 loss to the Chargers on Thanksgiving.
Prescott has been held under 180 yards passing in all three games without Ezekiel Elliott this month. Rod Smith's late-game touchdown run was the Cowboys' first visit to the end zone since early Week 10. Prescott did have a long touchdown run, but it was wiped out on a blatant hold by LT Tyron Smith, and he threw a 90-yard pick-six to Desmond King in the fourth quarter on a play he didn't see a wide-open Jason Witten in the end zone. Prescott, even in a prime spot, will be hard to trust as a fantasy play next Thursday night against the Redskins. Nov 23 - 7:27 PM

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Mark Sanchez is expected to get the "majority" of the Cowboys' reps at quarterback on Sunday.

It's looking more and more like Dak Prescott and company will only play a few series. The Cowboys understandably want their young players to maintain momentum heading into the postseason, but there's too much for the 13-2 team to lose. Sanchez will be a YOLO/minimum option in DFS leagues.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the preliminary plan is for the team's healthy starters to suit up in Week 17.

Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott are both healthy. LT Tyron Smith (knee) is not, however, which whatever Garrett says on Tuesday, could give him a quicker hook with his rookie stars and Dez Bryant on Sunday. Right now, we'd expect the Cowboys' stars to execute a watered-down game plan in the first half, but to likely check out soon after the break. They will be low-owned, high-risk, moderate-reward options in daily fantasy.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the starters will play a full complement of snaps Monday night against the Lions.

"We like the rhythm of our offense and how Dak [Prescott] is playing," Garrett said. This is not a surprise considering the Cowboys have consistently said they will not rest their starters, but it is still comforting to fantasy owners relying on a Cowboy to bring home the title. Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, and Dez Bryant can be safely left in fantasy lineups tonight.

Jerry Jones said "you'll know it when you see it" is time for Tony Romo.

This quote does not mean much of anything, but it is a shift from the Cowboys' previous stance on the quarterback situation. Even as recently as Sunday, Jerry had been adamant Dak Prescott would remain the starter barring injury. This at least opens the door for Romo to start over a healthy Prescott if the rookie continues to struggle. Even with the No. 1 seed basically locked up, there always seems to be drama in Big D.
