Jets coach Todd Bowles admitted aggravation with Geno Smith's pre-game comments to ESPN's Lisa Salters on Monday.

Smith intimated he was unhappy to be riding the bench, and that he should get a shot over struggling starter Ryan Fitzpatrick, something that indeed happened against the Cardinals. "I don't have any thoughts on backup players saying anything," Bowles said. "They're backups for a reason. If they get a chance to play, they'd better prove themselves to be worthy of playing regardless of who they are." Yikes.
