Deep Sleepers

Friday, October 6, 2017

So you're in a 18-30 team league and you need some guys to look at late in your draft?

I got you.

These guys are all owned in less than 10 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Lots of zero percent guys (ordered in ownership percentage):

Donovan Mitchell - He’s probably going to make the rotation.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - His role is unclear, but we know he can get buckets in Europe.

Jonathan Isaac - Vogel talked him him and he is playing both forward spots.

Ish Smith - Reggie Jackson hasn’t played a game yet, so Ish is worth owning until R-Jax is ready.

Bobby Portis - Nothing wrong with a dart throw on the Bulls(eye).

Dejounte Murray - Probably not a “deep sleeper” for the first two months.

Stanley Johnson - If SVG plays Tobias Harris at PF a lot, Stanley is in the mix.

Tyler Ulis- Could see a lot of Bledsoe at SG.

Doug McDermott - Someone has to play SF.

Paul Zipser - Ditto (and Zip has looked good early).

Mike Muscala - We’ve seen him do some work in 17 minutes. Should get more.

Juancho Hernangomez - Plays two positions behind old forwards. Sure can shoot it.

Cheick Diallo - The Alvin Kamara of bigs as a double handcuff. Both in New Orleans!

Jarrett Allen - Encouraging preseason, but not a lock for minutes. Great stash.

Zach Collins - Biggie gets the love, but maybe Collins makes a run.

Caris LeVert - Talent is always draftable, but the Nets added a lot of competition.

Michael Beasley - As good as LeBron and KD. How is he 9% owned????

Alec Burks - Not ready to count him out yet.

Jason Smith - Markieff Morris is out to start the year.

Brandan Wright - Marc Gasol is old and B-Dub is another per-minute monster.

Sam Dekker - Could get minutes, but not having Houston hurts.

Kyle Anderson - Could start if Kawhi is out, but man he’s a mess.

DeAndre Bembry - Shocked he’s at zero percent.

Wayne Selden - Good bet to start. Summer league special.

Evan Turner - A little boring, but has 22-28 minutes secured.

Nemanja Bjelica - Something to watch if Thibs plays Dieng at straight four.

Trey Lyles - New team, new role, lost weight, faster system. Maybe he’s not a dead duck.

Cristiano Felicio - Should have 20 minutes in the bag.

Kyle O’Quinn - Feels like the Rodney Dangerfield of bigs. No respect!

Kelly Oubre - Should benefit without Markieff Morris

Josh Hart - Getting super deep here.

Johnathan Motley - Not a lock to play, but brings it.

Jarrett Jack - Still outside chance he starts.

Pascal Siakam - Should be in rotation and will chuck threes.

Wes Johnson - Hey, he might be Gallo’s backup over Decker.

Tyler Ennis - Could be Ball’s backup.

Derrick Jones Jr. - Very possible he’s in the rotation and is taking treys. Dunks!
