Liverpool have a reached an agreement with Sevilla on the loan signing of the disappointing Iago Aspas.
Never a fit at Anfield, the forward would charitably be classified as a disappointment for the Reds. That disappointment came to at least a temporary end today as Sevilla agreed with Liverpool on a year-long loan deal that, theoretically, will lead to a permanent move next season. No word on whether this brings the signing of fullback Alberto Moreno in the other direction any closer to fruition but we're sure there will be more on that one way or the other soon with the executives for both clubs in close touch over the Aspas move. Aigo Aspas came off the bench in Liverpool's win against Southampton last weekend and has generally been limited to a bench role.

Aspas has been healthy for a few months now but is stuck behind Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, and Raheem sterling on Liverpool's pecking order. With the way those three have been playing, Aspas likely won't be getting much playing time unless there is an injury at Anfield. Avoid him for now but keep an eye out for injury concerns in Liverpool since Aspas can be a quality player if given the chance.

Liverpool forward Iago Aspas has missed about a month of action with a thigh injury but is expecting a return within the next two weeks.

Aspas holds relatively no fantasy value because Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have cemented their roles at the club. Aspas could provide some rest for either striker but that's more likely to come in cup matches than the Premier League as Liverpool are fighting for a possible title and will play the Suarez-Sturridge duo as frequently as possible.

Iago Aspas tore his thigh muscle in training on Thursday and is expected to miss a month of matches.

Liverpool only have three Premier League matches in November, and with Luis Suarez back in the team they have their first choice attackers on the pitch. However, Aspas' injury will again test the depth of the first-team squad.
