A deal between Tottenham and Marseille that would have seen Georges-Kevin N'Koudou arrive to White Hart Lane while Clinto N'Jie would go the other way on loan looks to have all but broken down.
It has been nearly a month when the two sides agreed to this deal on principle, with Tottenham ponying up £10.9m for N'Koudou but Marseille has undergone a transition in their boardroom this summer and the new brass is not happy with the deal that is in place. The deal looked to be all but a formality of confirmation at one stage with N'Koudou already having taken a medical in London. Meanwhile, Nacer Chadli continues to stay on the market for Spurs, with Swansea and Borussia Brotmund expressing interest. Tottenham are no strangers to transfer deals falling through but this one does not appear to have Daniel Levy to blame. Aug 12 - 4:17 AM

Swansea City have approached Tottenham in an attempt to sign Nacer Chadli, who looks to not be a part of his current club's future plans.

Chadli only made ten league starts last season, playing the role of substitute more often than not and, with Tottenham on the verge of signing wide man Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, the Belgian international's chances of more playing time with Spurs this season looks to be rather grim. Meanwhile, Swansea have been openly shopping for an option to play on the left wing and Chadli would likely find regular playing time there. The two sides need to reach a financial agreement at this time though, with Tottenham reportedly seeking £15m while the Swans currently are bidding around £10m.

Nacer Chadli is fit enough for Mauricio Pochettino to include him in the squad for Tottenham when they face AS Monaco on Thursday.

Chadli had ankle ligament damage which he suffered in a match back in mid-October. That was the Week 9 match and the wide man had started eight of those nine league games to that point. That may lead one to believe that he will be gradually eased back into the starting XI, but Christian Eriksen has done well in his place out wide on the left, allowing Mousa Dembele to play centrally and the Belgian has done well with his opportunity. Bottom line, Chadli is worth stashing in draft leagues if another manager gave up on him, but it may take poor form or an injury to allow Chadli to re-establish himself as a regular.

Nacer Chadli and Nabil Bentaleb remain unavailable for Tottenham in their Week 15 matchup with West Bromwich Albion, but Mauricio Pochettino indicated that both are closing in on a return to training.

This is encouraging news for Spurs as they get set for a busy holiday schedule. If both can be ready in a couple of weeks, it gives them depth when they need it most, offering an extra option out wide in the attacking midfield and in the middle of their defensive midfield. Chadli was getting regular pitch time before going down but it is difficult to predict if or when he might become a regular again, as the current alignment with Christian Eriksen playing on the left has been working very well.

Nacer Chadli will miss at least four weeks after a scan showed ankle ligament damages.

Chadli suffered the injury against Liverpool on Saturday and had to be subbed out. Ankle ligament damage is fairly serious and four weeks is certainly a very hopeful scenario. This is horrible news for Tottenham, who have been struck with a number of injuries lately and this only adds to their problems. Chadli is droppable in most fantasy formats but worth keeping in deep draft leagues.

Nacer Chadli looked to suffer an ankle injury inside the opening ten minutes of Tottenham's match against Liverpool, and was subsequently removed.

Chadli got the worst of a collision with Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, and he immediately clutched his ankle. Clinton N'Jie has come on to replace him. While it is not the youngster's debut, this will be the first legitimate shift for him. Chadli's injury will be assessed in the coming days.

Tottenham have a clear injury list as they travel to Liverpool on Tuesday night.

A fully fit Tottenham squad brimming with confidence provides Mauricio Pochettino with a welcome selection dilemma and the Argentine could be tempted to name an unchanged side although Nacer Chadli will be hoping to force his way into the reckoning. Eric Dier was a surprise inclusion against Arsenal – one of two changes for the derby – with Frederico Fazio the unfortunate player missing out.

Burnley and Tottenham need a replay to decide who hosts Leicester in the FA Cup fourth round after a draw at Turf Moor.

A terrible first half produced precisely zero shots on target, but gave way to a better second with Spurs taking a 52nd-minute lead when Nacer Chadli hammered in from inside the box from a Ben Davies cross. That was Chadli's ninth goal of the season, an excellent return for a winger, and he also has four assist in an impressive campaign so far. Burnley levelled through Sam Vokes, in only his second appearance since returning from a serious knee injury to seal a draw and a replay, with the winner of that facing Leicester City in the 4th Round.

Nacer Chadli was a noticeable absentee on Sunday as Tottenham travelled to the KC Stadium to take on Hull in game week twelve as Pochettino confirmed his squad was without nine first members including the suspended Kyle Naughton.

The Belgium midfielder was reportedly nursing a knee problem which he picked up while on international duty against Wales prompting Spurs to send their leading scorer for a precautionary scan – the results of which are still unknown. The form of Chadli this season has been one of the few highlights in an otherwise disappointing campaign and any significant absence would be a huge blow particularly with such a heavy fixture schedule coming up. However there was better news as the Argentine coach confirmed Kyle Walker is now back in training, the full-back is expected to return in early December. Emmanuel Adebayor, Roberto Soldado & Etienne Capoue will all be checked before Everton visit White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Nacer Chadli continued his fine season by scoring his sixth league goal but it was not enough for Spurs to climb back from a two goal deficit and they would eventually lose, 1-2.

It is panic time at White Hart Lane in the Pochettino era. Optimism was abound after a miracle come-from-behind win against Aston Villa and a start being given to the morale-boosting youth, Harry Kane. It did not take long though for Spurs to look flat and uninspired, an all too common theme in their season. The defense was a shambles yet again, and other than a header early on, Kane did not threaten much. Chadli's goal came with 15 minutes to go and gave Spurs a shred of hope as he executed a slick volley from a tight angle that no keeper could stop. His six goals are the most from any midfielder to date, unless you count Alexis Sanchez, who is listed as a midfielder in some fantasy games, but has been playing almost exclusively as Arsenal's striker. Spurs travel to Hull next, another club struggling to score but if recent results are any indication, the Tigers will find their way to the net.

Nacer Chadli can continue his goalscoring form against Newcastle in Week 9.

What a remarkable turnaround it has been for Chadli after a difficult debut season, sitting pretty as Tottenham's top scorer with four goals in the opening eight weeks of this campaign. The Belgian winger has displayed power, pace and clinical finishing ability playing as a left-sided forward in Mauricio Pochettino's 4-3-3 system and he is available for a bargain price as Spurs host Newcastle in Week 9.

Tottenham will await the return of midfielder Nacer Chadli after he was a notable absentee for Belgium in Monday night’s away draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Reports post-match confirmed that Chadli had picked up a hip problem – the full extent of which is unknown – with the player facing tests on his return to White Hart Lane. The potential loss of the Belgium international would prove a huge blow having started the season on fire with four goals and one assist in his six games – almost half of Spurs total. However the lofty heights of sixth place is partly due to a solid defensive foundation with Hugo Lloris forming the cornerstone of the unit - but he [groin], like Chadli, will face further examination. The potential loss of the pair would be devastating for Tottenham who will encounter the mighty Manchester City at the Etihad in game week eight.

Nacer Chadli has four of Tottenham's eight goals (six games) to start the season.

Chadli's most important goal of his career to date was washed away when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain equalized for Arsenal in the North London Derby this past weekend. Nevertheless, Chadli has rightfully earned a spot in Mauricio Pochettino's starting XI. He's the leading scorer on a top 10 team who'll need continued production from him if the rest of his supporting cast keeps coming up dry. He's in form and looks to be progressing. Add him to your Yahoo Fantasy PL team while his price is still fairly reasonable.

Nacer Chadli's goal vs Sunderland gives the midfielder three goals in his last three matches and the goal-scoring lead among all players at Tottenham heading into a Week 5 matchup vs West Brom.

After missing out on the team's opening match at West Ham, Chadli has three goals in 227 minutes over the last three games. A pretty impressive accomplishment early on given the fact that he only had one goal in 1,452 total minutes all of last season. With 18 points this past week in Yahoo Fantasy's Premier League game, the midfielder now has 46 points on the season, five shy of the team's top player Eric Dier.

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Spurs have had a £10million offer accepted for Dutch international Memphis Dupay with Nacer Chadli going in the opposite direction as part of the fee as well.

Memphis Dupay was one of the breakout stars of the World Cup as the young midfielder showed his quality alongside established veterans like Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben. Since Holland's first match in Brazil the rumor mill has been working overtime speculating about a move to the Premier League with first Manchester United and now Spurs the favorites for his signature. If a swap deal for Dupay and Chadli is consummated it will represent a solid upgrade for Spurs as Chadli wasn't particularly impressive in his first season in England.
