Nacer Chadli will definitely miss the Week 12 visit of Chelsea and fears in the West Brom camp are that he could miss a number of weeks beyond that.
Chadli returned to the starting line-up in mid-October after an injury kept him from starting the season in contention for playing time. His return to the line-up was short-lived as he has now been felled by a hip injury that threatens to keep him out for multiple weeks. The injury will likely mean more time for one or both of Salomon Rondon or Matthew Phillips. With Chelsea the opponent in Week 12, expect Tony Pulis to go even more defensive than usual with his line-up so expect only one of the two attackers this time out with Rondon probably favored for his ability as a target man holding up play as Albion's many center backs hoof clearances up the field looking for relief from Chelsea attacks. Nacer Chadli returned to the West Brom starting line-up with a bang as he scored from a set piece for Albion's only goal in their 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium on Monday.

Chadli, who has been suffering from a back issue since the summer, finally returned to the starting line-up and the shuffle yielded results for Tony Pulis. Chadli definitely showed some rust after his long layoff but he also showed his quality with a free kick that wrong-footed Kasper Schmeichel. It wasn't enough for the Baggies as Riyad Mahrez equalized past Boaz Myhill who was deputizing for an injured Ben Foster. Despite the result, look for Chadli's stock to rise as he rounds back into form.

Nacer Chadli has recovered from his injury but still faces a need for fitness and sharpness before he will be considered for first team duty.

With high-flying Watford visiting the Hawthorns in Week 7, Tony Pulis would certainly prefer to have the Belgian attacker at his disposal. Whether as a starter or an impact substitute, Chadli brings a combination of power and pace not available elsewhere in the Albion squad. It looks like he will have to wait, likely until after the international break to get Chadli back. When he is available, it isn't clear how prominent a role he will play given the extent to which Pulis has bolstered his attacking options over the past few transfer windows.

Nacer Chadli had a golden opportunity to put West Brom up and delay Chelsea's championship celebration but he dragged his shot wide and Chelsea scored not long after to win 1-0 and secure the 2016-17 Premier League title.

West Brom gave more than a good accounting of themselves on the day. The Baggies didn't dominate any statistical category but the chances they had were good ones and while they limited the Champions elect to some fairly soft chances. That all changed in the 82nd minute when a scramble in the box saw Cesar Azpilicueta slide the ball to Michy Batshuayi running wide open in front of goal. Ben Foster made contact but couldn't keep the effort out and that was the difference as Chelsea took all three points and the league title home to Stamford Bridge.

Nacer Chadli claimed the only West Brom shot on target as Albion fell 2-0 to Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday in Week 31 action.

Chadli could have sent Tony Pulis' side off to an early lead had he converted in the early going. Heurelho Gomes was up to the task and made a save that came back to Chadli for a second crack at it but the second opportunity wasn't on target and that was it for Albion for the evening. Despite playing the final 25 minutes plus stoppage time up a man West Brom didn't register another shot on target. Not a great follow-up to taking a good point at Old Trafford over the weekend. To make matters worse, they will be without Miguel Britos for their next match.

Nacer Chadli picked up a shoulder injury over the international break and faces a late fitness test ahead of West Brom's trip to Old Trafford.

Chadli picked up his shoulder injury while with Belgium over the international break and could miss Albion's high profile match-up as a result. With Matt Phillips still out nursing a hamstring injury Tony Pulis' side are definitely at a deficit when it comes to creative attacking options. Throw in that Salomon Rondon returned later than most from international duty and it could be a significantly depleted attack against an improving Manchester United defense.

West Brom struggled to generate an attack all day as they fell 2-0 to Crystal Palace at the Hawthorns.

Nacer Chadli registered West Brom's first shot on target of the match but it wasn't until the second half and it wasn't particularly dangerous. That about summed up the day for Tony Pulis' side who just never really clicked on the day.

Nacer Chadli is likely to take advantage of James Morrison's illness to secure his second consecutive start on Monday.

Chadli lost his job through a combination of injury and the returning James Morrison. It looks like he'll have a chance to win it back with illness likely ruling Morrison out for Albion's Boxing Day trip to the Emirates. Chadli is exactly the sort of player, one with both power and pace, that gives Arsenal's center backs fits so don't be surprised if the big Belgian helps his former Spurs teammates by giving the Gunners a hard time on Boxing Day.

Nacer Chadli is back and, due to Salomon Rondon's absence, could be moved up to a forward role against Watford this weekend.

For those who have been frustrated by Chadli's injury, consider this potential compensation for your patience. With Salomon Rondon out with tonsillitis and Saido Berahino still depressed/out of shape/out of favor, Chadli is the logical candidate to slot into the center forward role. It could be a nice fantasy return for the Belgian international.

Having already missed four matches, Nacre Chadli has yet to be cleared for action against Hull City on Saturday.

The highs of Chadli's early season performances have been muted somewhat after he has missed the last few matches out injured. His return is further complicated by West Brom's excellent Week 12 performance that saw James Morrison ignite a four goal attack. Chadli should start but exactly where he plays is less certain assuming he does return this week.

Nacer Chadli is the only injury concern for Tony Pulis ahead of Monday’s game against Burnley at the Hawthorns.

The summer signing from Spurs who has been a revelation since his arrival, four goals and two assists, went under the knife earlier this month to tidy up a niggling cartilage complaint. Chadli will train outside for the first time on Thursday and Pulis will leave any decision regarding his involvement until the last moment. Otherwise, the Baggies boss is not expecting any last-minute surprises. Saido Berahino has returned from his training camp in France: "We are pleased fitness-wise, the next step is for him to get some games and hopefully that will happen in the next few weeks." Meanwhile, Salomon Rondon [tight hamstring] "will be fine" and defender Jonas Olsson is also available following his recovery from a minor muscular issue.

West Brom's director of performance, Dr. Mark Gillett confirmed Nacer Chadli is in line to return from injury next weekend.

Gillett said Chadli missed the match against Leicester after undergoing a minor operation to remove cartilage around his meniscus. But the former Spurs midfielder is in contention to face Burnley next weekend: "With this being the last international break before the winter we wanted to get it done so he went for surgery in Belgium which has gone extremely well. He should be available for selection for the Burnley game. He’s progressing well and he’s in contention. Whether he’s picked for that game after the last result we’ll wait and see."

Nacer Chadli will miss Albion's Week 11 trip to Leicester City after having a minor knee surgery.

Since coming over from Spurs at the transfer deadline, Chadli has been Tony Pulis' best attacker. Missing the Belgian for a difficult test against the reigning champions will be hard to compensate for. It will be up to some combination of James Morrison, Chris Brunt and Jon Leko to make up for Chadli's attacking drive with Saido Berahino still isolated from the squad as he rebuilds his fitness.

Nacer Chadli was back at it for Tony Pulis with a goal but Albion couldn't keep the lead and ended up settling for their second 1-1 draw on the trot away to Sunderland.

Chadli was frequently dangerous and it was his driving run that broke the nil-nil deadlock in the 35th minute. Sunderland's equalizer had something of the unintentional about it. Jan Kirchoff was stretchered off early in the second half and replaced by Patrick Van Aanholt. It was Van Aanholt who scored the equalizer in the 83rd minute to double the Black Cats' points haul for the season.

Nacer Chadli exploded for two goals and two assists last weekend and now faces the bottom team in the league. He could be primed for a great encore.

After languishing on the bench at White Hart Lane for a couple of years and showing flashes of great potential when given opportunities, Nacer Chadli has a starting role after his move to the Hawthorns. After a tepid debut he took full advantage of the opportunity to play a central attacking role putting up two goals and two assists in Week 5. He isn't likely to repeat those numbers again but with Stoke City Albion's Week 6 hosts another very productive match is a reasonable expectation.
