Nacer Chadli is back and, due to Salomon Rondon's absence, could be moved up to a forward role against Watford this weekend.
For those who have been frustrated by Chadli's injury, consider this potential compensation for your patience. With Salomon Rondon out with tonsillitis and Saido Berahino still depressed/out of shape/out of favor, Chadli is the logical candidate to slot into the center forward role. It could be a nice fantasy return for the Belgian international. Dec 2 - 1:51 PM

Having already missed four matches, Nacre Chadli has yet to be cleared for action against Hull City on Saturday.

The highs of Chadli's early season performances have been muted somewhat after he has missed the last few matches out injured. His return is further complicated by West Brom's excellent Week 12 performance that saw James Morrison ignite a four goal attack. Chadli should start but exactly where he plays is less certain assuming he does return this week.

Nacer Chadli is the only injury concern for Tony Pulis ahead of Monday’s game against Burnley at the Hawthorns.

The summer signing from Spurs who has been a revelation since his arrival, four goals and two assists, went under the knife earlier this month to tidy up a niggling cartilage complaint. Chadli will train outside for the first time on Thursday and Pulis will leave any decision regarding his involvement until the last moment. Otherwise, the Baggies boss is not expecting any last-minute surprises. Saido Berahino has returned from his training camp in France: "We are pleased fitness-wise, the next step is for him to get some games and hopefully that will happen in the next few weeks." Meanwhile, Salomon Rondon [tight hamstring] "will be fine" and defender Jonas Olsson is also available following his recovery from a minor muscular issue.

West Brom's director of performance, Dr. Mark Gillett confirmed Nacer Chadli is in line to return from injury next weekend.

Gillett said Chadli missed the match against Leicester after undergoing a minor operation to remove cartilage around his meniscus. But the former Spurs midfielder is in contention to face Burnley next weekend: "With this being the last international break before the winter we wanted to get it done so he went for surgery in Belgium which has gone extremely well. He should be available for selection for the Burnley game. He’s progressing well and he’s in contention. Whether he’s picked for that game after the last result we’ll wait and see."

Nacer Chadli will miss Albion's Week 11 trip to Leicester City after having a minor knee surgery.

Since coming over from Spurs at the transfer deadline, Chadli has been Tony Pulis' best attacker. Missing the Belgian for a difficult test against the reigning champions will be hard to compensate for. It will be up to some combination of James Morrison, Chris Brunt and Jon Leko to make up for Chadli's attacking drive with Saido Berahino still isolated from the squad as he rebuilds his fitness.

Nacer Chadli was back at it for Tony Pulis with a goal but Albion couldn't keep the lead and ended up settling for their second 1-1 draw on the trot away to Sunderland.

Chadli was frequently dangerous and it was his driving run that broke the nil-nil deadlock in the 35th minute. Sunderland's equalizer had something of the unintentional about it. Jan Kirchoff was stretchered off early in the second half and replaced by Patrick Van Aanholt. It was Van Aanholt who scored the equalizer in the 83rd minute to double the Black Cats' points haul for the season.

Nacer Chadli exploded for two goals and two assists last weekend and now faces the bottom team in the league. He could be primed for a great encore.

After languishing on the bench at White Hart Lane for a couple of years and showing flashes of great potential when given opportunities, Nacer Chadli has a starting role after his move to the Hawthorns. After a tepid debut he took full advantage of the opportunity to play a central attacking role putting up two goals and two assists in Week 5. He isn't likely to repeat those numbers again but with Stoke City Albion's Week 6 hosts another very productive match is a reasonable expectation.

A stunning Nacer Chadli performance against West Ham inspired the Baggies to their first Premier League home win since the beginning of March.

The club-record £13m fee paid to Spurs for the Belgium midfielder looks to be a snip if Saturdays’ display against a seriously out-of-form Hammers side is anything to go by. Chadli played a direct part in all of the opening goals as West Brom stormed into a 4-0 lead after less than an hour. His penalty on 8 minutes helped the home side to the perfect start while assists for Rondon [37] and McClean [44] were sandwiched between his second which he poked home after 56 minutes. West Ham threatened an unlikely [and undeserved comeback] following two-goals in quick succession but the Baggies held out and that’s how the score remained. James Morrison came on for the limping Chadli with a quarter of an hour to go, but the midfielder confirmed: "There was no injury. I had a bit of cramp. I couldn’t run anymore."

Disgruntled manager Tony Pulis may have finally found his man to lead the West Brom attack in Nacer Chadli.

The summer signing from Tottenham had a career day, contributing to every one of the club's goals with two goals and two assists in a 4-2 win against West Ham at the Hawthorns. The Baggies tore apart West Ham from the start, with Chadli registering his first goal from the penalty spot in the eighth minute. The club jumped out to a 3-0 lead before halftime and extended it to four thanks to Chadli, before the Hammers fought back for two goals. In team news, Hal Robson-Kanu and Allan Nyom made their club debuts off the bench.

The newly arrived Belgian midfielder had a humdrum start to life under Tony Pulis that saw Albion shut out and Chadli contribute little of note.

There was a lot of hope for Chadli after some bright performances for Spurs as a reserve. He is powerful and direct which seems like a solid profile for a Tony Pulis attacker as well as one who can flourish in a fantasy universe that rewards peripheral contributions like shots on target and successful dribbles. Chadli didn't show a great deal of that promise in his Albion debut as he managed only a single successful take-on as his only attacking contribution. There were sporadic defensive stats (2 aerial duels won, 2 tackles won, an interception and a successful clearance) but not nearly enough to justify a starting spot in draft/auction leagues. Don't give up on him yet but it certainly wasn't the debut that managers and supporters were hoping for.

West Bromwich Albion have acquired Nacer Chadli from Tottenham for a transfer fee believed to be £13m and signed the Belgian to a four-year deal.

The Baggies official website are reporting it as an "undisclosed fee" but other sources have the figure at £13m. A couple of days ago, it looked as if Chadli might head to The Hawthorns on a loan deal but Tottenham have successfully sold a player that no longer had a future with the club. West Brom get an immediate upgrade as Chadli will likely leapfrog James McClean for the regular spot on the left flank, opposite Matt Phillips. That pushes Callum McManaman even further down the pecking order but he is rumored to be sold before the transfer window closes, along with Ricky Lambert. Chadli is definitely worth an add in draft leagues for those needing help in midfield and should give the Baggies a bit more of a cutting edge on the outside that they sorely need.

According to Sky Sports sources, Tottenham's Nacer Chadli is set to join West Bromwich Albion on a season-long loan.

Spurs seem determined to move Chadli away permanently, as he has not been able to make the bench for any of their first three league matches, but with the transfer window nearing its close, they may be willing to settle on a loan move for now. West Brom are definitely keen on a wide attacking player, having shown interest earlier in the week on getting Southampton's Jay Rodriguez on loan. Chadli would certainly see playing time under Tony Pulis and could make for a potentially lucrative pickup in fantasy draft leagues for those looking for help in their midfield.

A deal between Tottenham and Marseille that would have seen Georges-Kevin N'Koudou arrive to White Hart Lane while Clinto N'Jie would go the other way on loan looks to have all but broken down.

It has been nearly a month when the two sides agreed to this deal on principle, with Tottenham ponying up £10.9m for N'Koudou but Marseille has undergone a transition in their boardroom this summer and the new brass is not happy with the deal that is in place. The deal looked to be all but a formality of confirmation at one stage with N'Koudou already having taken a medical in London. Meanwhile, Nacer Chadli continues to stay on the market for Spurs, with Swansea and Borussia Brotmund expressing interest. Tottenham are no strangers to transfer deals falling through but this one does not appear to have Daniel Levy to blame.

Swansea City have approached Tottenham in an attempt to sign Nacer Chadli, who looks to not be a part of his current club's future plans.

Chadli only made ten league starts last season, playing the role of substitute more often than not and, with Tottenham on the verge of signing wide man Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, the Belgian international's chances of more playing time with Spurs this season looks to be rather grim. Meanwhile, Swansea have been openly shopping for an option to play on the left wing and Chadli would likely find regular playing time there. The two sides need to reach a financial agreement at this time though, with Tottenham reportedly seeking £15m while the Swans currently are bidding around £10m.

Nacer Chadli is fit enough for Mauricio Pochettino to include him in the squad for Tottenham when they face AS Monaco on Thursday.

Chadli had ankle ligament damage which he suffered in a match back in mid-October. That was the Week 9 match and the wide man had started eight of those nine league games to that point. That may lead one to believe that he will be gradually eased back into the starting XI, but Christian Eriksen has done well in his place out wide on the left, allowing Mousa Dembele to play centrally and the Belgian has done well with his opportunity. Bottom line, Chadli is worth stashing in draft leagues if another manager gave up on him, but it may take poor form or an injury to allow Chadli to re-establish himself as a regular.
