Yannick Sagbo has a disappointing day in front of goal as Hull City lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace.
Sagbo has been preferred to Danny Graham in recent weeks after a couple of goals this season, but he missed a fine chance to put Hull ahead at the KC Stadium. In truth Hull created very little until a late flourish against ten-man Palace and the defeat was deserved. They have now lost four of their last five league games and Steve Bruce will be concerned. With the game already well in Southampton's control, Yannick Sagbo was able to notch his second goal of the season to give Hull City their only tally as the Tigers fell to Southampton 4-1.

The goal was courtesy of Saints midfielder Victor Wanyama, who completely turned off after receiving a pass from Saint keeper Artur Boruc. Wanyama turned to start his way up the pitch as if no one was within 30 yards of him. Jake Livermore was right there to intercept, and he teed up Sagbo to his right, who was able to fire home. Credit Hull City for capitalizing on the mistake, but their attack was otherwise predictably shut down by Southampton.

Yannick Sagbo will likely deputize for Danny Graham in Week 10 with the on-loan Graham unable to play against his parent club.

Yannick Sagbo has talent and that talent becomes fantasy-relevant in Week 10 as Hull City host relegation-threatened Sunderland. With Danny Graham ineligible to participate Sagbo will likely get his second start in a row. Last weekend's opponent, Spurs, meant that Sagbo wasn't very attractive but Sunderland is a different story. If you're spending big money elsewhere, Sagbo is a solid lower priced fill-in for the week.

Yannick Sagbo, on as an early substitute after Danny Graham went off injured, scored Hull City's lone goal in their 2-1 loss to Everton.

Sagbo, who was sent off on his home debut against Norwich in Week 2, hasn't started a league match since but came only in the 16th minute after a Danny Graham injury. It only took him 13 minutes to draw Hull City equal as he powered a Sone Aluko pass past Tim Howard. We will have to wait on the Danny Graham injury update before we can be sure Sagbo will finally see his third Premier League start. With Spurs the opposition in Week 9, it probably isn't the time to take a risk on the forward.
