Hull City has emerged as a shock contender to sign former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison in January.
Hull City manager Mike Phelan confirmed the club is considering a move for the attacking midfielder, who was last in the Premier League with West Ham during the 2014/15 season. Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi confirmed the 23-year-old is on the market in the winter and Phelan said he is willing to give Morrison a chance after working with him at Manchester United earlier in his career: "We are looking at players who can come in and strengthen the squad in January. Ravel is a talented boy. He’s had his ups and downs but I know what he’s got to offer. He has bags of ability that just needs harnessing in the right way." Wed, Nov 16, 2016 07:45:00 AM

West Ham’s Ravel Morrison has agreed to join Italian side Lazio on a free transfer at the end of the Premier League season.

Morrison’s deal expires in the summer and he has agreed to a contract with the Serie A side, although he has not formally signed yet. He was signed by the Hammers on a three-and-a-half year deal in January 2012, but his career has stalled a little since his arrival and he has been sent to three different clubs on loan. Several teams in Europe have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Morrison during the current transfer window, but it looks like he has opted to let his contract expire before departing Upton Park.

Ravel Morrison has had the charges against him withdrawn from the Crown Prosecution Service.

There were some hefty crimes that Morrison was accused of and he may have had to see jail time had he been found guilty. The alleged crime was a threat to kill his ex-girlfriend amongst a number of other threats. The talented winger has shown flashes of brilliance in the past but continues to have off the pitch issues that will likely keep his potential low for the foreseeable future.

West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison is back in practice despite having a court date later this month.

Morrison is an interesting player to monitor this season because he was fairly exciting in the Premier League last year before having problems with Sam Allardyce. He was then loaned out and was good at QPR, helping them to promotion. He is now back with the Hammers but has found himself in legal trouble and that could cause him to be suspended by the Premier League or the club. If he can find a spot in West Ham's revamped attach, he could possess some sneaky fantasy value later in the year.

Harry Redknapp has praised young midfielder Ravel Morrison, who is on loan to Queens Park Rangers.

Morrison was having some trouble with Sam Allardyce and was sent on loan to QPR. He has been impressive there and continues to show promise. He is young, quick, talented, and has a bright future ahead of him. If Morrison lands on a good attacking squad in the Premier League next season, he can be a useful fantasy asset. Make sure to keep your eye out for him.

West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is on loan at Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Morrison has reportedly had problems with Sam Allardyce and will be leaving for QPR on Friday, February 21st. Big Sam believes Morrison should have played through a recent injury and has questioned his determination. The 21 year old showed flashes of brilliance at the beginning of the campaign but has not started a Premier League game since December and could use the change of scenery.

Ravel Morrison will be in West Ham's game squad on Saturday and is reported to be fit.

There has been speculation about Morrison's future and a possible strike by the midfielder in an attempt for him to force his way out of the club but those all sound like they were just rumors. The youngster has also been dealing with a groin injury but seems to be fine and is expected to be fully fit for the weekend.

Ravel Morrison will face a late fitness test before West Ham faces Fulham tomorrow.

Fulham are struggling on defense but even if Morrison makes it, it's doubtful if he'll be fit for all 90 minutes. That combined with the fact West Ham are struggling to score makes him an unappealing option for New Years Day.

Ravel Morrison is doubtful for West Ham's match against West Brom this weekend with a groin injury.

Morrison has been a spark in the Hammers' attack this season but has also been wildly inconsistent. Fans have sometimes been frustrated with his inexperience but the youngster has made improvements and is shaping up to turn into a Premier League star in the future. Despite his improvements, he'll likely miss out on the weekend's match because of the groin injury. The injury is not considered very serious and he should be back sooner rather than later.

Ravel Morrison was booked after the final whistle yesterday for pushing Crystal Palace defender, Joel Ward. There was the potential for further punishment from the FA but the matter is now closed.

That was Morrison's fifth booking of the season, and as such, he will now miss West Ham's trip to Liverpool at the weekend.

West Ham United were unable to find the net in their match against Crystal Palace, dropping valuable points against an Eagles side fighting relegation.

While there were no fantasy stars for West Ham in this match, Ravel Morrison is increasingly becoming a player to monitor. Supporters of the club have been clamoring to see Morrison play the role of central attacking midfielder to better utilize his talents. The role has been occupied for years now by mainstay Kevin Nolan, but a changing of the guard in that position may be on the horizon. Nolan was subbed off rather early in this one, and while Allardyce kept the shape of the team, it was Morrison who slotted into the central role, with newly introduced Joe Cole playing out wide opposite Stewart Downing.

Ravel Morrison scored his club-leading third goal of the season to give West Ham United the early lead at Carrow Road, but Norwich City fought back in the 2nd half with three unanswered goals, and the Hammers fell 3-1.

While West Ham continue to wait for a viable striker option to emerge, Morrison has been acclimating himself nicely in the senior team after fighting to convince manager Sam Allardyce early in the season to hand him a regular spot. Currently priced at 7.32m, he is emerging as a superior budget midfield option to the likes of Ross Barkley. Week 13, West Ham are home to Fulham. That may be the time to think about Ravel.

Ravel Morrison has been gradually earning more and more playing time for West Ham and has solidified his position in midfield after being a major part in the team's 3-0 win at White Hart Lane.

Morrison has scored four goals in eight appearances in all competitions this year including a spectacular goal against Tottenham last weekend. The 20 year old had some behavioral problems at Manchester United but those seem to be behind him and he is enjoying the best time of his young career at West Ham. Morrison is under 9 million pounds in fantasy and is a good choice to stash on your bench. He has plenty of upside and you can use him as a number one sub in case one of your starters doesn't play.

West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is expected to start against Hull City tomorrow.

Morrison has been in good form lately and has earned Sam Allardyce's praise. The midfielder has made West Ham look dangerous at times and that has earned him a regular spot on the team. Morrison can be a good fantasy option if you're looking to spend more money up top and play riskier players in midfield.

Ravel Morrison rewarded manager's Sam Allardyce's faith in being handed a start by scoring the opening goal for the Hammers, but they would eventually lose 2-3.

This was Morrison's second start and the Hammer's were desperately looking for an offensive contribution from anywhere they could get it. He was teed up my a Matt Jarvis shot that took a defection in the box and the youngster didn't flinch, firing home past a bewildered Tim Howard. West Ham's upcoming fixtures aren't enticing, their pleasant run is ending just in time to see what the prospect can do. Best to take a wait and see approach at the moment.
