Dani Osvaldo has told the media he is keen to remain at Inter Milan even after his loan ends.
Osvaldo is still owned by Southampton but is on loan at Inter Milan. He wants to make his move permanent and we are not surprised, as Osvaldo never adjusted to the Premier League and clashed with teammates. Osvaldo's time at Southampton is likely over, especially considering that the guy he punched in the face(Jose Fonte) is now the team's captain. Oct 1 - 10:46 PM

Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo has completed a move to Inter Milan on a season-long loan.

Osvaldo had been rumored to be leaving St Mary's but this officially confirms it. He struggled to adapt to the Premier League and got into a fight with teammate Jose Fonte last season, leading Saints' management to letting him leave on loan for the second part of last season. Reports have said his relationship with Southampton is beyond repair and the only question was whether he'd be sold or leave on loan. To complete the loan move, Saphir Taider is headed to Southampton, also on a season-long loan.

Dani Osvaldo has completed a medical with Juventus and has sealed his loan move to the Italian club.

The move comes at no surprise after Mauricio Pochettino said earlier in the week that it's unlikely Osvaldo plays for Southampton again after relations with his teammates have deteriorated due to his training ground fight with Jose Fonte. The Italian striker was tied for third place for goals scored in the Italian Serie A last season and could form a lethal partnership with Carlos Tevez. He is on loan with Juventus until the end of the season with the option for a permanent move in the summer.

Dani Osvaldo may have played his last game for Southampton as teammates and fans want him out after training ground incident.

Osvaldo was suspended earlier this week for head butting Jose Fonte and his teammates are supportive of the club's decision to suspend him. It seems like the Saints are behind Fonte as his teammates have shown support for him and the club have decided to take no action against him. It's not a good sign that the locker room has turned against Osvaldo. This isn't the first time the Italian has been involved in a training incident. He was suspended and fined at AC Roma for punching then teammate Erik Lamela in the face. Saints fans have also expressed their desire to ditch Osvaldo and it may be in the club's best interest to cut ties with the striker.

Dani Osvaldo has been suspended by Southampton for two weeks for conduct detrimental to the club.

Osvaldo just can't get a break this season. He has struggled to adapt to the Premier League and has wasted precious opportunities to get into form as he continues to get suspended. He was given a three match ban from the FA for a scuffle in a match against Newcastle a few weeks ago and has now been suspended by his own club for conduct detrimental to the team. In the meantime, Rickie Lambert will continue to lead the Saints' attack.

Dani Osvaldo has been suspended for three matches following his incident in Southampton's match against Newcastle.

Osvaldo was involved in a scuffle against Newcastle and the Football Association has suspended him for three matches after reviewing the incident. Osvaldo's suspension will go in place now and he will miss the Saints' FA Cup match followed by two Premier League games. He can return on January 28th when Southampton face Arsenal. The striker can't catch a break right now and it wouldn't be too surprising to see Southampton sell him in the January transfer window.

Daniel Osvaldo has been upgraded to a late fitness test after being considered doubtful for tomorrow's match against Chelsea.

Osvaldo was dealing with a knock and then an illness in the past two weeks and has missed some important games for the Saints. They will be hoping their star striker can be back to provide some fire power against Chelsea, but if he can't go, Rickie Lambert will lead the line. There is also a very possible scenario where Osvaldo comes in off the bench. I wouldn't feel good at all using him in my squad this week.

Pablo Osvaldo (illness) and Victor Wanyama (calf) will not play against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Osvaldo has been a late fitness check due to a knock for the past couple of games but has now picked up an illness. Rickie Lambert will probably start in his place again but is not a good option against a recently improved Chelsea defense. Osvaldo has not adapted well in the Premier League and Southampton may choose to sell him over the January transfer window. Mauricio Pochettino has praised his efforts in the past so it's also possible they give the striker another six months to turn things around. Victor Wanyama also continues to be out with a calf injury.

Danny Osvaldo will be a late fitness test for Southampton's game against Everton on Sunday.

Osvaldo has missed a few games because of a knock but could be back Sunday. Even if he is healthy, I think he might start on the bench. Rickie Lambert has scored in his last two games and has developed a good partnership with in form Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana. The most likely scenario for Osvaldo is to start on the bench and come in for Lambert to provide some rest.

Daniel Osvaldo missed Southampton's game against Tottenham due to a knock he picked up in training but is expected back on Boxing Day.

Osvaldo was surprisingly left out of the Saints' squad on Sunday but Mauricio Pochettino explained it was an injury issue. Osvaldo will be a late fitness check for the match against Cardiff but is expected to pass the test and be available for selection. If he starts, Rickie Lambert could return to the bench.

Southampton forward Dani Osvaldo has been charged with violent conduct by the FA over his altercation with Newcastle United's goalkeepers coach last weekend.

Osvaldo has finally started to find his feet in the Premier League, and a three-match ban would disrupt good progress. For the Saints, they have Rickie Lambert to call upon, and anyway, Jay Rodriguez is their in-form striker.

Daniel Osvaldo scored a fantastic goal to give Southampton a point at home against Manchester City.

Sergio Aguero scored CIty's goal and continued his good form. This is a great result for Southampton after losing three in a row and fighting through a series of injuries. The Saints took the game to Manchester City and competed in all aspects of the game. City have to be disappointed that they didn't get the three points but a point on a road is better than none.

New Southampton signing Dani Osvaldo has been settling in well at his new club with the help of his teammates.

Saints players have helped Osvaldo with everything from getting a house to finding a car. Osvaldo hasn't settled in as well on the field yet, as the Saints seem to lack a finishing touch at the moment but things can only get better. Osvaldo should be moving into his house soon and his fantasy owners will hope that can translate to goals. Avoid the Saints for now until they gain chemistry and break the current goal drought.

Pablo Osvaldo made his first start for Southampton, partnering Ricky Lambert on the front line, but he and the Saints could not find the net in a 1-0 loss at Carrow Road.

It was only a matter of time before the Saints record signing would be included in the starting XI, but the Italian striker failed to impress in his debut, looking frankly disinterested at times, which is a bit frightening for hopeful Saints fans as he had been signed with already well-documented attitude issues. This description sounds very familiar to the last Italian striker of note to play in the PL, Mario Balotelli. Osvaldo may need time to adjust to his surroundings before he has a chance to be fantasy relevant.
