Aly Cissokho, like fellow fullback Glen Johnson, has been training with Liverpool over the international break and is ready to return to the first team.

Cissokho, who injured himself on his Liverpool debut, will be available to face Newcastle United this weekend. Liverpool will have options in defense now in terms of both players and formations. It will be interesting, yet nervous times for fantasy managers, to see what Brendan Rodgers considers to be his best back line.

Aly Cissokho, who lasted ten minutes in his Liverpool debut before being injured, is "still a few weeks away yet, but working hard" according to Brendan Rodgers.

Liverpool are paper thin at full back, with only Jose Enrique fit. Andre Wisdom is expected to fill in across from the Spainard as cover for the injured Glen Johnson.

Aly Cissokho only last 10 minutes in his Liverpool debut against Notts County in the League Cup.

Cissokho was replaced by Daniel Agger, and it remains to be seen how severe of an injury he suffered. Jose Enrique will all but surely line up against Manchester United this weekend.

Loan signing Aly Cissokho wants to help Liverpool back into the Champions League.

Cissokho played against Liverpool in the Champions League when he was with Lyon. Now he'll compete with Jose Enrique for the left back spot in Brendan Rodger's system - which emphasizes attacking full-backs.
