Morgan Amalfinato has left West Ham by mutual consent.
The 30-year-old midfielder had a falling out with Slaven Bilic and had in the dog house for the entire season so far, with the official story being that Bilic has disciplined Amalfitano for a "breach of rules". The club and the player have agreed to part ways by mutual consent now and Amalfitano is free to find a new club. We don't think Amalfitano is good enough to be a Premier League starter so he can be safely ignored in fantasy leagues at this point in time. Wed, Oct 14, 2015 12:58:00 PM

Morgan Amalfitano is still out of favor with West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.

Amalfitano had a run-in with Bilic earlier in the season and hasn't played since. He isn't even being included in the match-day squad nowadays and there is no timeframe on when, if ever, he'll return. Reports last week suggested West Ham are trying to get him off their books, so it seems less than likely he'll ever play for the Hammers again. He is not worth holding onto in any leagues.

Morgan Amalfitano will miss week two after a dispute with Slaven Bilic.

Amalfitano and Bilic have reportedly clashed and the player will be suspended by the manager for week two. The situation is apparently not as bad as the media has portrayed it, but this is a bad start for Slaven Bilic as he establishes himself as a coach in the dressing room. Don't use Amalfitano in fantasy leagues until he's out of the dog house.

West Ham were dumped unceremoniously out of the FA Cup in a heavy loss to West Brom while Morgan Amalfitano became the second Hammers player within the last four days to receive his marching orders.

Arguably the West Ham midfielder could’ve received a straight red for his kick out at Chris Brunt just ten minutes after his introduction but the referee was left no option when Amalfitano followed up by pushing the Baggies player in the face. The sending-off capped a dismal afternoon which saw West Brom advance to the quarter-finals of the while Sam Allardyce admitted the fixture congestion of recent weeks finally caught with up his side. In truth West Ham were never in the game although they were boosted by the return of Mark Noble and Kevin Nolan prior to kick-off but Andy Carroll was not involved after a specialist confirmed on Friday that the striker would require surgery on the knee injury he picked up against Southampton.

Morgan Amalfitano and Alex Song have both integrated well into the West Ham but they lack match fitness and aren't likely to start.

Sam Allardyce confirmed both new signings have integrated well into the squad and have had time to get up to speed. But he also mentioned how Song is short of match fitness and Amalfitano didn't train for 14 days prior to moving to London. With that said, both are likely going to start on the bench against Hull City this weekend.

Sam Allardyce made a late move on deadline day to snatch up Morgan Amalfitano on a one year deal by way of Marseille.

The transfer fee is undisclosed at this time. After getting his feet wet in the Premiership while a loanee at West Brom last season, it appears Amalfitano has taken a liking to English club football. Outside of Stewart Downing and a currently crocked Matt Jarvis, the Hammers were without any weapons to deploy out wide and the Frenchman will help in strengthening that position.

According to Sky sources, West Ham have signed Morgan Amalfitano on a free transfer.

Sky Sports are reporting the deal and that's usually as good as done. Amalfitano played for West Brom last season when he was there on loan, scoring four goals in 30 matches. We don't think his value is much higher here and he'll probably be a fantasy backup at best. It's still a good signing for West Ham as they look for offensive options and Amalfitano can provide a spark at times. It's been a great transfer season for the Hammers so far but they'll have to get their chemistry in order soon as the season starts in a week.

QPR have stepped up their efforts to sign Morgan Amalfitano from Marseille.

Amalfitano enjoyed a loan spell with West Bromwich Albion last season and impressed on occasions, but a permanent move failed to materialise. The 29-year-old is reportedly still available for a cut-price fee of £2.5million, and he would be a good value signing for QPR if they can pull it off.

Morgan Amalfitano's early goal stood up for a 1-0 win that will likely see West Brom stay up for another season of Premier League action.

It may not be pretty but Pepe Mel appears to have done the job he was brought on to do which was keep West Brom up. With a huge win over relegation rivals Norwich City at Carrow Road, West Brom moved enough ahead of Norwich, Fulham, Sunderland, and Cardiff City that it would be difficult for two of those four to overtake the Baggies between now and the end of the season. After a long slump, Amalfitano has scored twice in the last two weeks to help his club's fortunes significantly against fellow strugglers Cardiff City and Norwich.

West Bromwich Albion set the tone with a wonder goal from Morgan Amalfitano in the 2nd minute, but would eventually squander two leads to settle for a 3-3 draw with Cardiff City.

Whether it was intended or not, Amalfitano scored an exquisite goal to get things going, sending a rainbow of a shot from the right flank over the head of a stunned David Marshall. Amalfitano would be involved again several minutes later, as he sent a cross into the box that was settled by Matej Vydra, who set up Graham Dorrans to score the Baggies second. Cardiff worked their way back into the match but West Brom appeared to have saved their day with a goal in stoppage time from Thievy, but the Bluebirds spoiled the party with a quick equalizer to end things.

Morgan Amalfitano has been a strong fantasy producer thus far but his knee may keep him from an attractive match-up with Crystal Palace in Week 10.

There wasn't much good that came from West Brom's spanking at the hands of Liverpool last weekend. Most of the damage from the match was limited to Saturday but one lingering impact was the loss of Morgan Amalfitano who went out just before halftime with a knee injury. One of the Baggies' best players so far this campaign, his knee injury may keep him out of the match-up with Crystal Palace too. If you're looking for a choice from among the West Brom attackers, I'd take the certainty of Stephane Sessegnon's participation over the chance of the (in my mind) superior Amalfitano maybe playing or maybe not.

West Brom midfielder Morgan Amalfitano came off before halftime against Liverpool and it remains to be seen how sever the injury actually is.

Amalfitano couldn't make the half-time whistle, coming off on 44 minutes for James Morrison. Morrison went on to score West Brom's consolation penalty, but the Baggies will sweat on the fitness of their influential on-loan French midfielder.

Morgan Amalfitano had a goal and an assist in West Brom's huge win at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Amalfitano was extremely cool with the ball at his feet bearing down on David De Gea. The French winger faked a shot causing De Gea to go low and then he lofted the ball calmly over the keeper for the Baggies' opener. After Wayne Rooney's equalizer, Amalfitano was back at it with a sublime touch to set up Saido Berahino to slot home from the top of the box for the final difference. Amalfitano has two goals and an assist in three matches in the Premier League making him one to watch for all fantasy managers.
