Guly do Prado has recovered from a minor injury and is once again available for selection for Southampton.
Guly is behind Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert on the pecking order and is not a good fantasy option, especially against a tough Manchester City team on the road. As far as Southampton players go, Nathaniel Clyne, Kelvin Davis, and Maya Yoshida have been ruled out for the trip to the Etihad. Apr 4 - 1:09 PM

Guly do Prado returned from a three month absence to score in Southampton's 2-0 win over Yeovil in the FA Cup.

do Prado played a little less than hour in his return from a bad knee injury and scored on an early penalty kick. WIth Dani Osvaldo currently suspended, do Prado could get more playing time than usual in the Premier League but he is still behind Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert on the pecking order. Consider him fantasy irrelevant.

Southampton's Guly do Prado will likely be out until January with the knee injury he suffered at the end of last month.

The Saints have Rickie Lambert and Dani Osvaldo in front of Guly do Prado so his absence will not be a big issue.

Southampton forward Guly do Prado is ruled out for Saturday with a knee injury and there is no set return date.

The injury doesn't sound too serious and do Prado should be back sooner rather than later but we will know more next week. If both do Prado and Dani Osvaldo miss Saturday's game, expect Rickie Lambert to play the entire match and rack up fantasy stats once again.

Southampton's Guly Do Prado scored a nine minute hat trick in the Saints' preseason victory over Spanish side Palamos.

Palamos were certainly not ready for the Saints' Premier League quality and lost 8-0. It's hard to take much away from this game as the Saints were too good for the Spanish side. It is still impressive for Do Prado to score three goals in nine minutes. Don't expect him to win the starting job over Rickie Lambert or Jay Rodriguez, but Do Prado could earn himself some more minutes with more displays like this one.
