Crystal Palace put the onus on defending and created a few chances to possibly win them the match, but the will take the road point in a 0-0 draw with Spurs.
Neil Warnock arrived with his team by bus and they decided to park it in front of Julian Speroni. The strategy paid off assuming a draw was good enough for the Eagles and by all accounts, it was. Along with sound defending, a few chances were created, including a shot by Dann that took an excellent keeper like Hugo Lloris to save. Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie provided the most attacking threat while Mile Jedinak failed to find magic from a set piece. Palace now have to see if they can next defend against a Stoke side who just scored thrice on the Gunners. Dec 6 - 12:05 PM

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann looks set for an extended spell on the sidelines after straining knee ligaments during the defeat to Hull at the KC Stadium.

Neil Warnock tasted defeat for the first time since taking over the Eagles with a disappointing loss on Humberside today. Coming off the back of two straight wins Palace were full of confidence but after only 12 minutes the team were called into a defensive reshuffle as Dann was replaced because of suspected medial collateral ligament damage - a scan will confirm the full extent of the problem. The injury – similar to that suffered by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain prior to the World Cup in Brazil – could keep the defender out for around two months with Jamaican international Adrian Mariappa waiting in the wings having previously featured twice under the new coach.

Crystal Palace lost Scott Dann in the first half and the scoreless draw in the second half on their way to losing 2-0 to Hull City in Week 7 action.

Scott Dann had to come off early with an ankle injury as a result of blocking a Tom Huddlestone shot at the edge of the area. Adrian Mariappa replaced Dann but they couldn't keep out the revitalized duo of Mohamed Diame and Nikica Jelavic who have both warmed to live at the KC Stadium in style scoring at significantly higher rates than expected. The loss halted a strong run from Palace who had won their previous two Premier League fixtures.

Crystal Palace, amidst a flurry of deadline day moves, brought in Blackburn Rovers captain Scott Dann to reinforce their defensive options.

Palace have a fairly bloated squad, including more than a dozen first team defenders. However, of that number, only five or maybe six have seen any real playing time. Dann gives them another player with top-flight experience. At 26, he's a decent investment for the club's future.
