Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor have returned to training and are expected to feature against Crystal Palace.

The duo missed Aston Villa's last match with injuries but both are training again and expected to play this weekend. There is not much fantasy value to be had there as Villa missing most of their attacking power to injuries. They are still without long term absentees Christian Benteke, Libor Kozak, Charles N'Zogbia, Jores Okore, Nicklas Helenius and Gary Gardner.

Karim El Ahmadi will likely miss out on Villa's clash against Fulham this Saturday due to a thigh strain.

Villa have been hit hard with the injury bug and they will have to face Fulham with an unexperienced squad. The problem with Villa is, their fantasy production is wildly inconsistent and there aren't many players I would recommend outside of Brad Guzan and Ron Vlaar. The good news is that Nathan Baker is expected to return tomorrow after recovering from an ankle injury.

Karim El Ahmadi faces a late fitness test ahead of Aston Villa's match against Manchester United this weekend.

El Ahmadi is struggling with a hip injury and will have to pass a fitness test to make the game. If he can't make it, Yacouba Sylla will be his most likely replacement. Aston Villa play well away from home because of their counter-attacking style but El Ahmadi and Sylla do not do enough to earn fantasy considerations. Sylla does come at a price of £ 1.9M so he can be considered for a bench role.

Karim El Ahmadi has avoided a serious injury after being on the receiving end of a nasty tackle from Ramires.

Ramires was sent off for the tackle near the end of the game. The tackle has been described as a "leg breaker" and El Ahmadi should feel lucky to be walking away from this one. His shin was sore after the game but he is expected to be fit for this weekend.
