James Collins will be available for selection when West Ham face Crystal Palace this weekend.
Collins has missed the last few weeks with an injury but he is back in training and available for the weekend. This is a risky play, as Sam Allardyce might decide to keep him on the bench due to fitness or due to Winston Reid's play. Due to the uncertainty, I would avoid the situation fully. Kevin Nolan will also return from injury. Apr 18 - 4:21 PM

James Collins is ruled out for this weekend's match and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with a calf injury.

Collins picked up the injury against Hull City a couple of weeks ago and hasn't recovered yet. It seems Winston Reid has his job in the meantime, but he is a risky play against Liverpool this weekend. Reid can be a great fill in against weaker oppositions, but there aren't many defenders I'd like to play against Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

James Collins will face a late fitness test before Monday's match against Sunderland but is considered doubtful for the game.

James Collins left West Ham's match against Hull City with a calf injury which will likely force him out of action on Monday. Winston Reid wasn't even in the match squad against Hull City due to an illness and we don't know if he'll be well enough to play on Monday. Due to the multiple uncertainties, I would avoid any West Ham center-backs other than James Tomkins.

James Collins was impressive against Chelsea and finished with 14 fantasy points.

Collins recently returned from injury and is much needed in the injured West Ham defense. The Hammers are tied for first in clean sheets this season and Collins will be a good fantasy option for the rest of the season, especially against lesser oppositions.

James Collins will not be fit to face Fulham on New Years Day because of his calf injury.

West Ham are fighting through injuries and have been switching goalkeepers in the past few games, increasing Fulham attackers' fantasy value. With that being said, Fulham attackers have been wildly inconsistent and I wouldn't trust any of them. Dimitar Berbatov is intriguing and has a high ceiling but is a very risky option.

James Collins has been ruled out for West Ham's game over the weekend with a calf injury.

There is no return date set for Collins but he is definitively ruled out for Saturday's match. With Winston Reid still missing with an injury of his own, the West Ham defense will struggle and I would consider adding an attacking West Brom player to my squad for the weekend.

West Ham defender James Collins will be fit for the Hammers' match against Chelsea this weekend.

Collins was taken out of the Wales squad for precautionary reasons and he is fit for Saturday. Alou Diarra has also declared himself fit and will likely make the bench after being expected to miss the rest of the season.

James Collins is fit and will likely start against Norwich City to replace the injured Winston Reid.

West Ham have been good defensively and James Collins has the ability to produce fantasy points but his price makes him an unattractive option. You can have Dejan Lovren or Mathie Debuchy for less money.

West Ham have targeted Bordeaux defender Ludovic Sane.

West Ham have already strengthened their defense with Shakhtar Donetsk captain Razvan Rat and are looking to further improve the position. Co-owner David Sullivan has said the club may bring in up to five new players in the next few months and Sane could be one of them. George McCartney had injury problems and the backline has been overall unimpressive so the Hammers could certainly use the help in the back.
