Aston Villa fans have voted Gabby Agbonlahor as the most under-performing player this season.
24% of fans believe Agbonlahor was the most under-performing player while 19% think Andreas Weimann deserves the award. It was a tough season for both forwards, partially because they had to play alongside sub-par players. Both players are best when supplying a goal-scoring strikers such as Christian Benteke but Benteke and Libor Kozak both suffered season ending injuries. Villa's success next season will be dependent on the play of Agbonlahor and he will need to improve if he wants to remain at the club long-term as Paul Lambert has shown little patience when it comes to under-performing players. Gabby Agbonlahor is expected to face Tottenham on Championship Sunday after missing the Manchester City game through a knee injury.

Agbonlahor is relied upon for goals and creativity as Villa continue to miss their main strikers, Christian Benteke and Libor Kozak, through long term injuries. The only problem I see is that Villa may choose to keep him on the bench due to the fact that they have guaranteed themselves Premier League status for next season and may not want to risk him with the knee injury. If you play Agbonlahor, make sure to have a deep bench available.

Gabby Agbonlahor missed Aston Villa's clash against Manchester City due to a knee injury.

Agbonlahor picked up a knock during Villa's match against Hull City over the weekend and couldn't recover on time to face Manchester City today. He was missed as Villa lacked pace in attack and failed to score against a quality Manchester squad. Agbonlahor has dealt with a number of injuries this season and with relegation not an option anymore, Aston Villa could choose to play it safe and rest Gabby for the final match of the season on Sunday. Youngster Jordan Bowery started in his place and could get another start if Agbonlahor misses out again.

Gabby Agbonlahor is considered doubtful for Aston Villa's match against Fulham this Saturday due to an illness.

Villa need all the attacking power they can get with Christian Benteke and Libor Kozak both out for the season. It's unknown how Villa will lineup without their two best strikers missing so it's hard to predict how Agbonlahor's role and fantasy production will be affected. On one hand, he will be relied on more for scoring. On the other hand, Villa will likely struggle in attack and there will be less points to be had. I would avoid the Villa attack for now.

Gabby Agbonlahor "looks pretty good at the minute" according to Paul Lambert and the Villa forward is expected back against West Ham.

Agbonlahor has been out for a few games with a foot injury but is back in training and appears to be very close to a return. I'm not sure if he can go for the full 90 minutes but I think he has a good chance of at least coming off the bench, especially if the game is close.
Feb 6 - 8:28 PM

Gabby Agbonlahor has an outside chance of being fit for Aston Villa's game against West Ham this coming weekend.

Agbonlahor has been dealing with a foot problem since he injured himself against Liverpool a few weeks ago and has missed Villa's last two Premier League games. Paul Lambert said that Agbonlahor is now able to put his weight on it and will attempt to be fit for the West Ham game. A more likely return date is February 11th against Cardiff City.

Gabby Agbonlahor hasn't trained since hurting his foot in a fall over the advertising hoardings at Anfield but will be assessed before Aston Villa play Everton on Saturday.

Agbonlahor sounds doubtful to play against Everton but Paul Lambert will assess him before the game to see if he can go. Agbonlahor has been a big part of VIlla's good form in January and will be missed if he can't play. In the game against West Brom in midweek, Villa lined up with Andreas Weimann and Christian Benteke up top and Delph, Westwood, El Ahmadi, and Bacuna in midfield. Expect a similar lineup against Everton.

Gabby Agbonlahor scored the only goal in the game to give Aston Villa a critical three points and get them back to winning ways.

Aston Villa had earned only four points in December but started on the right path in 2014. Gabby Agbonlahor stole the ball right in front of goal and beat Sunderland's keeper for an easy tap in goal. Christian Benteke and Ron Vlaar returned to Villa's lineup and were instrumental in the win. Vlaar is a huge addition to the defense and having him healthy should help Villa stay away from the relegation zone.

Gabby Agbonlahor scored the only goal for Aston Villa in a 1-1 draw against Swansea.

Agbonlahor showed his importance to the Aston Villa squad when he put them ahead 1-0 in the 7th minute. He has served more as a creator than a scorer in the past but Agbonlahor can put the ball away when given the chance. Aston Villa welcome to point after losing four straight matches and this is something they can build on when they visit Sunderland on New Years Day.

Gabby Agbonlahor will return from his one match ban for accumulated yellow cards.

Agbonlahor increases Libor Kozak's value in a tasty home matchup against Crystal Palace. He creates many chances for Villa and is an important part of their attack. While he does create chances, he does very little else that shows up on the fantasy sheet so he is not an advisable option.

Gabby Agbonlahor is suspended for Aston Villa's match against Stoke City.

Agbonlahor picked up his fifth yellow card last weekend against Manchester United. His absence could see Marc Albrighton keep his spot, or Libor Kozak could partner Christian Benteke.

Fabian Delph praised Gabby Agbonlahor after the forward scored a fantastic solo goal against Southampton on Wednesday.

Agbonlahor has been one of the bright spots for Aston Villa this season and his form was rewarded with a goal this week. Delph believes Agbonlahor can challenge for a spot on England's World Cup Squad next summer and that any defender in the world should be scared of Gabby. Despite his great play on the pitch, Agbonlahor is not a good fantasy option as his contributions don't show up on the stat sheet.

Gabby Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann, and Fabian Delph are expected to play a bigger role this weekend as they are all fighting to improve their fitness after returning from injuries.

The trio came on in the second half last weekend and inspired Aston Villa to get two goals in a comeback that ended up as a draw. They've been training this week and Paul Lambert believes they will play a bigger role this weekend. Aston Villa also expect to get Antonio Luna back from injury but there is no word on whether he will start.

Gabby Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann, and Fabian Delph all returned from various injuries to help Aston Villa come back to a 2-2 draw.

The trio came on around the hour mark and their impact was felt immediately as Villa scored twice within 19 minutes of them coming on. They didn't start the game because they just returned from injury and were not fit for an entire 90 minutes. Expect all three to start once they're up to full match fitness.

Gabby Agbonlahor is doubtful and will likely miss Aston Villa's game against West Brom on Monday.

Gabby has been dealing with an ankle problem and it doesn't seem like he'll play this week. With Andreas Weimann also uncertain, Libor Kozak could earn another start for the claret and blues.
