Manuel Pellegrini confirmed Manchester City have a clean bill of health ahead of the Week 27 clash with Liverpool
After James Milner returned from a minor knee ligament injury to face Barcelona in the Champions League Manuel Pellegrini confirmed Manchester City have a clean bill of health "the whole squad is fit." David Silva, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero were all hugely impressive during the win over Newcastle so don’t expect too much to change. With Stevan Jovetic seemingly out of the equation Wilfried Bony looks to be battling it out with Edin Dzeko for a place alongside Kun but with the Bosnian back to full fitness he won’t be giving up his place easily. Edin Dzeko played well when Manchester City faced off against Hull City this week.

Dzeko wasn't phenomenal but was active and created some danger in front of Allan McGregor. He had two shots on target, three corners won, three passes intercepted, two fouls won, and a tackle won on his way to 15 phantom points. If Dzeko continues to start, he will be a decent fantasy option. However, his starting spot is far from guaranteed so make sure you watch this space for further news on his status in the rotation.

Edin Dzeko is still out with a calf injury and his updated timeline sees him returning in January.

Manchester City have three strikers and all are injured at the moment. James Milner started up top for the defending champions last time out and can be expected to lead the line again this weekend. Dzeko is not worth owning outside of the deepest of leagues at the moment.

Edin Dzeko has picked up an injury during warmups as Manchester City get set to face Leicester, and has been replaced in the starting eleven by Jose Pozo.

City fans will be holding their breath as their star striker Sergio Aguero is out for a spell and Stevan Jovetic was not fit enough to make today's squad. It is a major blow to those who invested in Dzeko as a bargain forward either for just this week or longer term in games with limited transfers. Pozo is making his first PL start and will be asked to at least hold up the line for City's more experienced midfielders.

Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is a doubt for the upcoming Euro qualifying game in Israel after the substitute was replaced just four minutes after coming on during the second half at Loftus Road.

City are in the middle of a poor run & with the scores level after 60 minutes Pellegrini decided to gamble & revert back to the same [4-4-2] formation that served his team so well at the beginning of the season with Dzeko supporting Aguero. However within a minute Pellegrini was readying substitute Frank Lampard after Dzeko strained his calf charging down his own header & subsequent touch following a Joe Hart clearance. His absence could provide Stevan Jovetic with a chance to recapture his early form having struggled since missing five weeks through injury back in September.

Dzeko scored on either side of halftime and Manchester City got three points but it wasn't pretty.

Yes, City got four goals (Aguero, Dzeko, Dzeko and Lampard) but it was their late first half collapse that saw Hull City score two to draw even that sticks out. Eliaquim Mangala managed to score an own goal, concede a penalty and was shown a yellow card. Dzeko and Lampard let the defender off the hook with second half goals to seal the win.

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has signed a new four-year deal with the defending Premier League champions.

Dzeko was very nearly on his way out of the Etihad door towards the end of Roberto's Mancini's reign, but the striker has enjoyed working under Manuel Pellegrini and should play a key role for Manchester City as they look to defend their Premier League title. The 28-year-old joins Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Aleksandar Kolarov, Vincent Kompany and David Silva in committing their futures to the club.

Edin Dzeko scored in Bosnia's 3-1 win over Iran as the Bosnians were able to walk away from the World Cup with three points.

Bosnia were already ruled out of the next round but came out to play against Iran and showed why they were hyped up before the tournament. They played well and saw off Iran without much trouble. Iran had a chance to make the next round with a win and a Nigeria loss but struggled again in attack and were only able to score one goal. Iran's only goal in this tournament came from Reza Ghoochannejhad, who looks like the future of Iranian football.

Bosnia Starting XI vs Iran: Begovic; Vrsajevic, Spahic, Sunjic, Kolasinac; Susic, Besic, Hadzic; Ibisevic, Pjanic, Dzeko.

Edin Dzeko and Asmir Begovic lead the Bosnian team to their last World Cup game. They've already been eliminated with two losses but the Bosnians played respectably in their first ever World Cup.

Bosnia Starting XI: Begovic, Spahic, Besic, Pjanic, Misimovic, Dzeko, Mujdza, Sunjic, Lulic, Medunjanin, Hajrovic.

Edin Dzeko will lead the line for Bosnia when they face Nigeria later today. Both teams desperately need points here as Argentina has pulled away with six points while no other team in the group has more than one.

Edin Dzeko and friends played a solid game against Argentina but struggled in delivering the final pass.

Edin Dzeko struggled in this match, failed to get open, and wasn't a problem for Argentina's defenders. Bosnia controlled parts of the game but they lacked speed and couldn't create chances. They scored a late consolation goal through substitute Vedad Ibisevic but it wasn't enough to get any points from this match. Bosnia should be much better against Iran and Algeria and there is fantasy value to be had here for the rest of the group stage.

Edin Dzeko starred in Bosnia and Herzegovina's 2-1 win over the Ivory Coast by scoring two great goals.

Bosnia and Herzegovina started off great and took a 2-0 lead through Edin Dzeko. Dzeko was doing everything and is clearly the best player on his squad. Bos & Herz have a manageable group and Dzeko will be a great pick in Fantasy World Cup. With that said, I wouldn't recommend many Bosnian defenders. Didier Drogba came off the bench and exposed the defense of Bosnia, scoring a great goal and having an overall great impact.

Edin Dzeko calmed a nervous crowd midway through the second half when he scores two goals in quick succession to see City close in on their second title in three seasons.

Both of Edin Dzeko's goals came from the same pipeline as Pablo Zabaleta cut in behind the defense from his right back spot to feed Dzeko directly for the first goal and Nasri, who saw his shot blocked into Dzeko's path for the second. Stevan Jovetic and Yaya Toure scored late insurance goals for the final 4-0 score line. All City has left is to win on Sunday and the title is theirs.

Edin Dzeko scored a brace to help Manchester City win an invaluable three points at Goodison Park and become prime candidates for the Premier League title.

Manchester City rebounded beautifully after going down 1-0 on a fantastic Ross Barkley goal but it was Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko who combined for three goals to give City a 3-1 lead. Romelu Lukaku cut their lead in half in the 65th minute but Everton couldn't find the last goal to tie the match that ended 3-2 in City's favor. The Manchester side now need to win their last two matches, both at home, in order to win the Premier League. They face Aston Villa and West Ham, both winnable matches, and they are now prime candidates for the title. Liverpool face Crystal Palace and Newcastle but are behind on goal difference and need City to slip.

Edin Dzeko struck twice as Manchester City dominated rivals Manchester United to move second in the Premier League.

The match ended 3-0 to City in one of the most one sided Manchester derbies in recent history. Dzeko opened the scoring just 43 seconds in to the match after Samir Nasri had hit the post, before the Bosnian forward added a second goal with a cool finish from a Nasri corner. Yaya Toure put a gloss on the scoreline in the dying minutes and it was no less than Manuel Pellegrini's men deserved. Manchester United were awful, offering very little in front of the Old Trafford faithful, and the pressure is back on David Moyes. City move within three points of Chelsea.
