Felix Magath confirmed following Fulham's loss to Stoke City that Hugo Rodallega was unavailable for selection to due illness.
Magath gave Darren Bent the start of top and even got a half hour of pitch time from Kostas Mitroglou later on, but neither forward were effective. Rodallega was a major factor in the Cottagers attempt to survive the drop with key goals in recent weeks, but it was the defense that led to their demise, conceding four times to Stoke. Hugo Rodallega was rewarded with a start after scoring the game winner for Fulham last week, and the move paid off, as he scored the only goal of the match as the Cottagers win their second straight with a 1-0 win over Norwich and edge to within two points of the Canaries in the battle to avoid relegation.

A great battle between two clubs fighting to stay up at Craven Cottage today, but Fulham were the better side and the result was a fair one. Rodallega had a couple of chances in the opening half hour but could not finish. In the 40th minute, a Lewis Holtby corner made its way into the area, got a slight touch off of Steve Sidwell and then came to Rodallega who put the ball away on the half-volley. A superb save by David Stockdale of a Ricky van Wolfswinkel shot was the highlight for the Cottagers defense as they held on. Expect Rodallega to retain his spot in next weeks' XI as Fulham travel to White Hart Lane.

Hugo Rodallega scored a late goal to help Fulham beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park.

This was Rodallega's first goal in 15 months and it was an important one as the win takes Fulham out of last place and gives them a sliver of hope in avoiding relegation. Fulham now finds themselves only five points away from Norwich City and they are hoping to make the relegation race interesting in the following weeks. The other Fulham goal came from Kieran Richardson. Lewis Holtby had a good game and capped it off with an assist for the winning goal. He should be considered in fantasy in the coming weeks.

Hugo Rodallega is set to be sidelined for 5-6 weeks due to a groin injury he picked up in Fulham's Capital One Cup match with Leicester City according to Fulham's official Twitter page.

Rodallega has been battling injury all year, amassing just 39 total minutes of pitch time this season. His playing time when healthy is severely limited as he is behind the likes of Dimitar Berbatov and Darren Bent in the Cottager's forward line. Upon his return, he won't be a viable fantasy option.
