Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp announced midfielders Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are fully fit to face Hull City this weekend.
The German manager revealed the midfield pair was held out of the club's League Cup win to Derby County on Tuesday due to minor knocks and concerns of overworking the midfielders, who have started every Premier League match so far this season: "Adam and Gini were not in the squad [at Derby], but they will be ready – they trained yesterday completely normal...Gini got a knock on his knee, it was swollen but was not a risk, but he was not at 100 per cent for the Derby game. He was not in the squad but trained on the day. The same with Adam Lallana, who felt the intensity of the last games a little bit, so there was no reason to try anything with him." Sep 23 - 5:19 AM

Adam Lallana scored his second goal of the season against Leicester in Week 4 and his fine start might have earned him a contract extension.

Jurgen Klopp is blessed with a plethora of attacking options and some big names are warming the bench on a weekly basis, but Lallana looks primed to have his finest season with the Reds, displaying the kind of influence and production that he came to be known for in his days with Southampton. He has earned appeal for FPL investment as a budget path into Liverpool's attack and, considering the points look to be spread around between the likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, spending less on Lallana is making more sense by the day. A contract extension would only make his grip on a starting role all the more stronger and he is thriving in his position playing behind the front three.

Liverpool have their league match with Everton postponed this weekend as they play Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final, but they have good news ahead of Week 28 as Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Joe Allen have all returned to training.

The three Reds were seen training with the main group on Friday and one or two may be fit enough to at least make the bench for the cup final. Lovren seems to have the best chance of featuring as he is making a return from illness. Lallana would be next in line as he is nearly recovered from a calf complaint. Allen would seem the least likely to be ready as he makes a comeback from a hamstring strain. Should any of the trio make the squad for the cup final, then they would be back in contention for the Reds next league match in Week 28 against the Sky Blues.

Adam Lallana will not be in the squad for Liverpool when they play their first leg Europa League tie with FC Augsburg as the midfielder struggles with a calf problem.

The calf issue for Lallana kept him out of the Reds 0-6 drubbing of Aston Villa this past weekend and the Europa match this Thursday will come to soon for a spot in the squad. As far as when Lallana will be fit for league play, it is too soon to predict. Liverpool do not have a match in Week 27 so their next fixture is not until March 2nd, when they host Manchester City. We should have a better understanding of Lallana's status prior to the 2nd leg with Augsburg a week from Thursday.

Jurgen Klopp indicated in Liverpool's press conference ahead of their match against Norwich City tomorrow that Adam Lallana may not be ready for selection as he deals with a muscle injury.

Klopp said that Lallana was able to do some training but not "normal" training, as it appears the midfielder cannot give 100% on the training ground as of Friday. He has not been ruled out, but it is particularly tough for his availability as the Reds play the early Saturday kickoff. That will benefit fantasy managers in draft and salary leagues though as they can find out if Lallana will start before the gameweek begins and make plans for a replacement if he indeed misses out.

Adam Lallana returned to the line-up with a goal but it was only good enough for Liverpool to draw with Bordeaux on the road.

Brendan Rodgers did what Arsenal could not and got at least a draw away from home despite rotating a significant portion of the squad. Rodgers gave starts to youngsters Jordan Rossiter, Jordon Ibe and Divock Origi and brought Pedro Chirivella and Cameron Brannagan in as substitutes. All are 20-years-old or younger and joined regular starter Joe Gomez in an incredibly young group. Getting a result, even a draw, with that much youth in the line-up is a great sign for Liverpool over a stretch where they haven't been playing particularly well at the senior level.

Roberto Firmino is in line for his first competitive Liverpool start after Adam Lallana suffered a muscular injury – believed to be his thigh – in training this weekend.

Liverpool travel to the Emirates on Monday to face arguably their stiffest test of the campaign [to date]. In the absence of Lallana and with captain Jordan Henderson [foot] a major doubt Brendan Rodgers could be forced into a reshuffle. Firmino has been working his way back to full fitness following a late return from the Copa America and the Brazilian is poised to start in attack alongside Christian Benteke. In midfield Emre Can or Lucas Leiva will fight it out to replace Henderson or if rumours are to be believed then both will feature with Jordon Ibe also making way. Liverpool have won just once away to Arsenal in more than 15 years and will need to improve upon their performances during the first two games to stand any real chance of maintaining their 100% record.

Coming off of his first league goal in 2015, Adam Lallana will look to finish his first season with Liverpool on a high note when they travel to face Stoke City on Sunday.

It was always going to be difficult for Lallana to match the production he put forth last season with Southampton, but even with that taken into consideration, it has been a disappointing inaugural campaign at Anfield. Last season, Lallana was a first tier fantasy midfielder, requiring ownership from managers who had any aspirations of success. Now, he has been a fantasy afterthought as injury, form, and lack of a guaranteed spot in Brendan Rodgers' side has rendered him unplayable. He was understandably one of the most expensive players to own when the season began, but can now be had for below 8.5m.

Liverpool received a fitness boost this week with the return of Adam Lallana to training, though there is still a doubt as to whether he will make the squad for the trip to West Bromwich Albion tomorrow.

It has been an injury-plagued first season for Lallana at Anfield, but he appears to be on the verge of returning from his latest setback, a groin strain. He cannot be looked at from a fantasy perspective for the weekend but may offer something for investors in the final weeks of the season.

Adam Lallana has been withdrawn from the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers after aggravating a groin injury during Sundays’ home defeat to Manchester United.

Lallana was on the receiving end of a crunching Phil Jones challenge during the first half yesterday and as the whistle went for the interval the midfielder still looked to be visibly shaken. The injury provided Brendan Rodgers with the opportunity to change things at the break as United had taken a foothold in the game with Steven Gerrard coming on for what is expected to be his last North West derby. However a mere [38] seconds after the restart Gerrard won a robust challenge with Mata before a stamp on Herrera moments later resulted in a straight red – the LA Galaxy bound captain will now serve a three match suspension. Lallana on the other hand is likely to be missing for around 2/3 weeks while team mate Dejan Lovren also pulled out of his countries [Croatia] internationals because of an abdominal strain.

Adam Lallana came on as a substitute for Liverpool in their FA Cup match against Bolton Wanderers in midweek, but the midfielder is no guarantee to start or even feature for Brendan Rodgers' side in Saturday's Merseyside Derby.

Liverpool have been excelling lately and have Daniel Sturridge perhaps ready to start again so there is no need for Lallana to break up things in midfield. While he gave a couple of his best displays just before his month on the sidelines it has been Phillipe Coutinho who has supplied their attack with real flair and is the better of the two options for Rodgers and your fantasy XI right now.

Adam Lallana as been ruled out of action for a month following a thigh injury he picked up on New Year's Day.

It is a big blow to the Reds who were rounding into their best attacking form of the season over the festive period. Lallana bagged a brace against Swansea and limped off on 55 minutes against Leicester and the Foxes proceeded to come from 2-0 down to earn a draw at Anfield. Needless to say, it was a hit to team morale. Steven Gerrard has begun to heat up on fantasy radars and looks the best source for goals at the moment, perhaps inspired knowing his days at Anfield are nearing an end. The better value could be Phillipe Coutinho from all this though. Guaranteed pitch time is the biggest flaw for his fantasy prospects but he should be nailed on for the foreseeable future. He has either scored or assisted in four straight league matches.

Adam Lallana doubled his Liverpool goal account by bagging a brace in unconventional fashion as the Reds found their scoring shoes in a 4-1 romp of Swansea City.

Liverpool may have found that extra dimension in their attack to make it more dynamic with the combination of Lallana and Phillipe Coutinho on the pitch together, as their creativity and composure have led to their last two wins. The Reds drew first blood with a sublime triangular pathway to goal as Alberto Moreno would start the play and finish it with a nice run and finish from a Jordan Henderson cross. Lallana's first goal came in freakish style when Lukasz Fabianski sent a clearance straight into Lallana's back and the ball would deflect backward like a magnet into goal. Pool would switch off for a moment and let the Swans back in, but Lallana scored a more conventional goal with help from a nifty Coutinho pass to seal the points and then a Swansea own goal would wrap up affairs. Lallana enjoyed his best shift as a Red by far but it remains to be seen if he can stay an influential figure.

Adam Lallana continued to disappoint fantasy managers in Liveprool's 3-0 loss to Manchester United.

Lallana has dropped off significantly from last season and Liverpool's lack of success hasn't helped. They are clearly missing the spark that Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge provided last season and their whole team is struggling as a result. Lallana's fantasy value might go up with Sturridge returning from injury but we wouldn't bet on him to be a good fantasy option this season.

Adam Lallana, Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson tally strikes in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Leicester City.

Liverpool went down 1-0 early off an own goal from Simon Mignolet, but Lallana equalized five minutes later and Gerrard and Henderson added second-half strikes to give Liverpool a 3-1 victory at King Power Stadium. Gerrard got his third goal of the season and his first since September 27, while Lallana and Henderson each got their second of the season and their first since October 4.
