Victor Moses scored in Chelsea's match against Paris Saint-Germain that ended 1-1 in regulation.
The match ended 6-5 in favor of Chelsea after a penalty shootout but it was Moses that was the most impressive player today. The winger continued to impress for Chelsea and has a real shot at the starting right-wing position once the season starts. Juan Cuadrado was once again mediocre and missed a penalty in the shootout, and Willian has been solid but not exceptional this pre-season. Moses has created numerous chances for his teammates and showed off his finishing touch today, giving Jose Mourinho a real dilemma to start the season. Keep an eye out, as Moses can be a great fantasy choice if he ends up with the starting job. Jul 25 - 8:29 PM

Jose Mourinho praised Victor Moses after Chelsea's 4-2 loss to New York Red Bulls last night.

Victor Moses has been with Chelsea this pre-season after spending last year on loan at Stoke City. Mourinho praised his strength and aggression and promised to give him another 45 minutes in the next friendly. Moses isn't likely to be a starter at Chelsea but he could be a big part of the rotation in the upcoming season. The lack of consistent playing time will certainly decrease his fantasy value and unless Moses leaves on loan, he shouldn't be drafted in any fantasy leagues.

From Bayern Munich to Inter Milan to Stoke City, it would be quite a drop in status in a little over a year if Stoke City's rumored interest is realized.

The fall of Bojan Krkic from Barcelona to Roma to Ajax was similar but that particular descent had injuries as a mitigating factor and it played out over a number of years. Swiss international Shaquiri has seen his stock fall quickly over the past 12 months. Could the Potters replace their interest in Victor Moses and Yehven Konoplyanka with a move for Shaquiri? Hard to know but it would be quite a statement of intent if they could pull it off.

Typist's nightmare Yevhen Konoplyanka appears to be headed to Stoke City on a £50,000 per week deal after tonight's Europa League final.

The Ukranian left wing has been linked to Spurs and Liverpool over the past few transfer windows but it will apparently be Mark Hughes and Stoke City who land the Dnipro man for next season. Konoplyanka's arrival leaves a doubt over the possibility of Victor Moses returning to the Britannia on a permanent deal over the summer. Moses played predominantly on the left side of midfield in his time at Stoke City. It is possible that Moses could be shifted to the right or play a more central role if he were to return but it may be that Mark Hughes is looking for a less injury-prone option than Moses proved to be.

Stoke City have shown signs of fantasy life under Mark Hughes but injuries and rotation still have them lacking a significant fantasy contributor.

You have to scroll past 108 players on the Yahoo season fantasy points leader board before you get to your first Stoke City player, Victor Moses. That you have to pass Hazard or Sanchez or Kane or Sterling is no surprise. That you have to pass Sergio Vergini and Remy Cabella and Estebian Cambiasso as well is a little more surprising. You can't blame Moses who showed well in his 19 healthy matches but that's been the problem across the board at Stoke City. Moses and Bojan, the two most likely Potters to move up the ranks, missed significant portions of the season to injury. Even at the back, Ryan Shawcross missed time and Mark Hughes shuffled his line-up regularly. We're used to Hughes teams featuring two or three strong fantasy players - MGP, Bentley, Dunn, etc. - but not this season. Maybe next year injuries will work out better for everyone at the Britannia.

Victor Moses has been ruled out for the balance of the season with a hamstring injury picked up in Week 32.

Stoke City's attack has been hit with another season-ending injury as Victor Moses has been ruled out for the season. The injury effectively ends a very successful loan spell for Moses at Stoke City. The club will likely make a big summer push to make the move permanent with the player also likely being willing as a push into the Chelsea first team seems highly unlikely regardless of how well the season at Stoke City went. For the rest of this season, it may open up more playing time for Marko Arnautovic.

Stoke grabbed a last minute equaliser to end their run of 3-straight defeats but Mark Hughes will be counting the cost as Victor Moses and Marc Wilson were unable to complete the match because of injury.

Moses was making his first appearance since March following a groin problem but the Chelsea loanee pulled up on the stroke of half-time with a non-contact muscular problem believed to be his hamstring although a scan will confirm the exact issue. A tear could rule the winger out for "several" weeks but Hughes does have options with Mame Biram Diouf, Jon Walters and Stephen Ireland all available. Stoke will also need to check on defender Marc Wilson who was unable to shake off a "bang" to the hip.

Victor Moses is healthy after recovering from his hip injury but he is out for Week 31 because he is ineligible to face his parent club.

Stoke City were always going to struggle against Chelsea but it will be even more difficult minus Moses and Bojan. Without their two most creative players the Potters are a major long shot to score let alone pick up any points.

Victor Moses has been playing well since he returned from his last injury but he is once again doubtful with a hip injury and could miss Week 30 against Crystal Palace.

Victor Moses has been a great addition to Stoke City this season when he's been healthy. The problem is that he's had multiple absences from the line-up over the course of the season bringing into question how interested Mark Hughes might be in making the move permanent over the summer. For Week 30, fantasy managers should probably make alternative plans unless they can make a change just before kick-off. Even then, you will want a very solid option off the bench to put in Moses' spot because he's highly likely to miss out.

Victor Moses scored in the 32nd minute and Mame Biram Diouf iced it late as Stoke City heaped more misery on Everton with a 2-0 win at the Britannia.

It has been a rotating cast of characters for Stoke City as injury and squad rotation have led to what seems to be an ever-changing starting eleven. Victor Moses, who appears to be back to his early-season form after a lengthy injury layoff, scored the opener from a Phil Bardsley cross. Stoke City held the 1-0 advantage until the 84th minute when Mame Biram Diouf put the match away from short range.

Victor Moses has been back playing for more than a month but Week 26 saw him finally recapture the form that set the league alight earlier in the season.

Moses was one of the stars of the early season accumulating phantom points, assists and goals in surprising number given his history at the fringes of bigger clubs. A late November injury saw him miss the festive period. Upon returning, Moses has put together some unimpressive performances until he broke out with a goal, two shots on target, two interceptions, and a tackle in Week 26. Here's hoping that this signals his return to his best.

Victor Moses has been out since late-November but he could return for the Potters' Week 21 trip to the Emirates.

Mark Hughes will have to decide if Moses is sufficiently recovered and match fit for a start or even a place on the bench as the Chelsea loanee returns to the squad after nearly six weeks out. Moses was a strong presence for the Potters over the first three months of the season and with Bojan rounding into form and returning to health, they could form the core of a dynamic attack when both are healthy. The question is whether both players are ready for that to happen this week or whether we will have to wait until Week 22 to see what they can do together.

Jan 9 - 2:36 PM

Victor Moses continues to contribute phantom points just about every week regardless of whether the goals and assists are coming or not.

Against Burnley, Moses was the only Stoke City player not involved in their lone goal to reach double digit fantasy points. The on-loan Chelsea man contributed two shots on target, two corners won and a successful cross on his way to 11 points in the Yahoo format. Given that Stoke City lost to a bad team that's not a bad day's work. Unfortunately, it appears that the winger will likely be out for up to eight weeks through a thigh injury picked up as he was accumulating these statistics.

Victor Moses’ roller-coaster of a season has come to a temporary halt after a scan on Tuesday confirmed the on-loan winger would be out for around eight weeks because of injury.

Moses is looking to rebuild his career which has nosedived since he was signed by Chelsea back in 2012 despite a reasonably successful first season at Stamford Bridge. But after a disappointing loan deal to Liverpool and a mediocre World Cup the Nigerian came to Stoke with a point to prove. However despite averaging [3.9] dribbles per game - the second highest in the BPL - and performing consistently Moses’ gamesmanship has been called into question following a number of alleged ‘diving incidents.’ But on Sunday the attacking midfielder suffered extensive fibre damage in his thigh - his fourth of the season – which is expected to keep him out until early 2015 and could hand Marko Arnautovic with an opportunity to cement his place within the first team.

Stoke haven't been exceptional but Victor Moses has been one of the stories of the season since his loan arrival from Chelsea. He scored again today in the 2-2 draw with West Ham.

Stoke City looked clear for three points after Victor Moses scored in the first half followed by Mame Biram Diouf early in the second half. Things came undone for the Potters later in the second half when Enner Valencia and then Stuart Downing replied for the Hammers for the final 2-2 scoreline. Given West Ham's recent form, Stoke will still be reasonably happy with the point but with a 2-0 lead they would have wanted to do better.
