Victor Moses has been back playing for more than a month but Week 26 saw him finally recapture the form that set the league alight earlier in the season.
Moses was one of the stars of the early season accumulating phantom points, assists and goals in surprising number given his history at the fringes of bigger clubs. A late November injury saw him miss the festive period. Upon returning, Moses has put together some unimpressive performances until he broke out with a goal, two shots on target, two interceptions, and a tackle in Week 26. Here's hoping that this signals his return to his best. Feb 26 - 3:58 PM

Victor Moses has been out since late-November but he could return for the Potters' Week 21 trip to the Emirates.

Mark Hughes will have to decide if Moses is sufficiently recovered and match fit for a start or even a place on the bench as the Chelsea loanee returns to the squad after nearly six weeks out. Moses was a strong presence for the Potters over the first three months of the season and with Bojan rounding into form and returning to health, they could form the core of a dynamic attack when both are healthy. The question is whether both players are ready for that to happen this week or whether we will have to wait until Week 22 to see what they can do together.

Victor Moses continues to contribute phantom points just about every week regardless of whether the goals and assists are coming or not.

Against Burnley, Moses was the only Stoke City player not involved in their lone goal to reach double digit fantasy points. The on-loan Chelsea man contributed two shots on target, two corners won and a successful cross on his way to 11 points in the Yahoo format. Given that Stoke City lost to a bad team that's not a bad day's work. Unfortunately, it appears that the winger will likely be out for up to eight weeks through a thigh injury picked up as he was accumulating these statistics.

Victor Moses’ roller-coaster of a season has come to a temporary halt after a scan on Tuesday confirmed the on-loan winger would be out for around eight weeks because of injury.

Moses is looking to rebuild his career which has nosedived since he was signed by Chelsea back in 2012 despite a reasonably successful first season at Stamford Bridge. But after a disappointing loan deal to Liverpool and a mediocre World Cup the Nigerian came to Stoke with a point to prove. However despite averaging [3.9] dribbles per game - the second highest in the BPL - and performing consistently Moses’ gamesmanship has been called into question following a number of alleged ‘diving incidents.’ But on Sunday the attacking midfielder suffered extensive fibre damage in his thigh - his fourth of the season – which is expected to keep him out until early 2015 and could hand Marko Arnautovic with an opportunity to cement his place within the first team.

Stoke haven't been exceptional but Victor Moses has been one of the stories of the season since his loan arrival from Chelsea. He scored again today in the 2-2 draw with West Ham.

Stoke City looked clear for three points after Victor Moses scored in the first half followed by Mame Biram Diouf early in the second half. Things came undone for the Potters later in the second half when Enner Valencia and then Stuart Downing replied for the Hammers for the final 2-2 scoreline. Given West Ham's recent form, Stoke will still be reasonably happy with the point but with a 2-0 lead they would have wanted to do better.

Victor Moses missed Stoke City's Week 7 match with a hamstring issue but is on track to feature in Week 8 against Swansea City.

Stoke City struggled mightily against Sunderland in Week 7 while missing Moses and Mame Biram Diouf. They have had two weeks to ponder the 3-1 loss to a previously win-less team. The silver lining is that both Moses and Diouf have returned to training and should be available for this week's match. Moses has been extremely effective in his time at Stoke and should be considered in all formats that include "advanced stats" like successful crosses, chances created, and/or corners won.

Victor Moses was subbed early due to injury as Stoke lost 3-1 at Sunderland.

Stoke were more than matching Sunderland for the opening spell of the match with Victor Moses causing problems once again and grabbing an assist for Charlie Adam's goal, but everything changed in the 18th minute. Moses pulled up with a muscle injury and was replaced by Oussama Assaidi, and the change caused Stoke to lose all momentum. They were well beaten in the end, and Mark Hughes will be crossing his fingers that the injury to his best attacking talent isn't too serious

Victor Moses continues to set the fantasy world alight with his performances for Stoke City and it continued in the Potters' Week 6 win over Newcastle.

Victor Moses has played four matches for Stoke City thus far and in the Yahoo format, he has averaged just a shade under 15 points per outing. And it isn't just the fantasy numbers, all you have to do is watch a Stoke match briefly to see that Moses is at the center of just about everything they do. For a player who has struggled to make an impact at bigger clubs, he may have found both his level and a home. The Week 6 performance was full of Moses' now-typical all-around goodness with an assist, a shot on target, two successful crosses, two interceptions, and two tackles. Amazing stuff from a wide player.

Victor Moses wasn't quite the transcendent fantasy player we saw in Week 4 against QPR in Week 5 but he still had an excellent outing.

The winger on loan to Stoke City from Chelsea appears to have found a home after he struggled for playing time at Liverpool last season. In his last two matches against Leicester City and QPR he has totaled 35 points in the Yahoo scoring system with two all-action performances. Last weekend his production was almost entirely on the attacking end but this weekend he combined attacking productivity (an assist, a shot on target and two successful crosses) with some defending (two passes intercepted and three tackles won). If he starts adding the occasional goal to his game he's going to be a fantasy force and he isn't too far off of that right now.

Victor Moses gave one of the all-time performances for a fantasy player whose team neither scored a goal nor kept a clean sheet in Week 4.

Victor Moses was a fantasy stud on a day when Stoke City were shut out by visiting Leicester City. The Chelsea loanee was rampant from the wing with coming up with nine (9!) successful crosses, four corners won, five fouls won, three tackles won, and a pass intercepted. He scored 22 points in the Yahoo format without registering so much as a shot on target. Just a great effort at doing the little things that add up in fantasy on a day when there were no big chunks of points to be had.

Victor Moses should start for Stoke against Leicester in Week 4 and the winger is another midfield option being tipped by Nik Argiropoulos.

The serious injury to Peter Odemwingie is a huge blow for Stoke, but it could open up the door for Moses to reignite his flailing career at the Britannia. The on-loan Chelsea winger can be a real threat when on form and is a bargain price in the Yahoo game, so a risk-taking fantasy manager may feel it’s a chance worth taking for the match against Leicester.

Nigeria XI: Enyeama, Ambrose, Oshaniwa, Oboabona, Omeruo, Mikel, Onazi, Azeez, Musa, Moses, Emenike

Moses along with Chlesea's John Obi Mikel make the starting lineup while Peter Odemwingie, Joseph Yobo and Shola Ameobi do not as Nigeria look to improve upon their showing in the final friendly with the United States.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Liverpool are in the market for Barcelona and Spain star Pedro.

With Victor Moses having failed to be the sort of versatile attacking option to supplement Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool are turning to what would be a HUGE upgrade. The rumor mill has Barcelona being willing to listen to offers for 26-year old Pedro as they look to retool their squad. Could Liverpool be the club to meet their asking price. How terrifying would an attack able to rotate Suarez, Sturridge, Pedro, Coutinho, Sterling, and Henderson be? The rest of the Premier League is probably shuddering just thinking about it. Such an acquisition would certainly start to lay rest to concerns about squad depth with the Champions League now on the agenda.

Victor Moses is ineligible to play for Liverpool against Chelsea this weekend, as he is on loan from the Blues.

Moses has been a bit-part player for the Reds, but their injury-hit side will have to rely on the likes of Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto off the bench if they need an attacking change against Chelsea.

Victor Moses has won the Nigerian Player of the Year award after a year of solid contributions to his national team and to the Premier League.

Victor Moses completed a season-long loan move to Liverpool at the beginning of the season and has made nine appearances for the Reds since then. Moses is only 22 years old and has a bright future ahead of him but he is not a good fantasy option at the moment.
