Bradley Johnson scored a 56th minute goal to put Norwich City up 1-0 over visiting Stoke but a penalty from Jon Walters saw the match end in a draw.
Norwich will have hoped that Johnson's goal combined with a tepid Stoke attack would see them earn all three points against the Potters. Sebastien Bassong's unnecessary foul on John Guidetti in the box gave Jon Walters a chance to score from the spot for the second weekend in a row and the forward made no mistake. There were some half-chances after Walters' 73rd minute penalty but nothing that could break the stalemate. Sat, Mar 8, 2014 12:20:00 PM

Bradley Johnson has won his red card appeal and is available for Norwich against Cardiff City this weekend.

Meanwhile, Loic Remy's similar appeal was rejected. The FA must have viewed the Frenchman as the aggressor, and he will start his three-match ban against Sunderland this weekend.

Norwich held on for a home draw against Newcastle United despite each club having a player sent off.

Johnson and Loic Remy were sent off after pushing, shoving, and clash of heads. Both teams hit the woodwork in this one, with Gary Hooper clipping the post for the Canaries. The home point keeps Norwich out of immediate relegation danger as all the clubs below them, bar Crystal Palace, that played today lost.

Bradley Johnson scored an excellent goal from the top of the box as Norwich City drew against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Gary Hooper teed up Johnson for a shot from the top of the box and the midfielder made no mistake as he put it in off the post in the 39th minute. The Canaries' lead didn't last long as Palace won a penalty from a Leroy Fer foul on Marouane Chamakh on a corner in first half stoppage time. Jason Puncheon converted the penalty for the final 1-1 score. Fer was eventually sent off in the 82nd minute but Palace couldn't capitalize for the win.

In an otherwise painful 90 minutes for Norwich City, Bradley Johnson was able to notch a consolation goal late to erase Liverpool's clean sheet but the Canaries were mugged by the exploits of Luis Suarez and fell 1-5.

The goal came after a Nathan Redmond cross found Johnson in the box who headed home with authority. The night was never to belong to Norwich as Luis Suarez took center stage. Johnson is not a fantasy relevant option at the moment. None of his teammates are either.
