Leicester, QPR and Crystal Palace are interested in Tottenham's Lewis Holtby.
Holtby has never settled at White Hart Lane and spent the final few months of the last campaign on loan to Fulham. The midfielder is determined to get regular first team football this season, but a move away will depend on whether he can impress Mauricio Pochettino during pre-season. The 23-year-old's fitness and work-rate should do him plenty of favours, with the new Spurs manager a big fan of imposing a pressing game on opponents, so there is still a chance Holtby will be included in Tottenham's plans. Germany midfielder Lewis Holtby is hoping new head coach Mauricio's Pochettino’s style of play will see him back in the reckoning at Spurs

Holtby was loaned out to Fulham for the second half of the season after falling out of favour with Tim Sherwood, but hopes to reignite his Tottenham career under Pochettino. The incoming manager built his Southampton team around pressing the opposition high up the pitch, which requires fitness, stamina and enthusiasm – all qualities of the 23-year-old.

Lewis Holtby is ineligible to face Tottenham Hotspurs this weekend as the midfielder is on loan from Spurs.

Holtby has been in good form for Fulham as they look to escape from near certain relegation. Ashkan Dejagah will likely deputize for the German, despite being a different type of player. Fulham will miss Holtby's vision and ability to control a match's tempo.

Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby has joined Fulham on loan until the end of the season.

Holtby joined Tottenham a year ago but has only been on the fringes of the first team this season and has been concerned the lack of football will make any hopes of a spot in Germany's World Cup squad impossible. As a result, Spurs have allowed the 23-year-old to join Fulham on loan and he could go straight in to the squad for their home game against Southampton this weekend.

The midfielder left Schalke for Tottenham in January 2013, but has only been on the fringes of the first team this season and is concerned the lack of football will make any hopes of a spot in Germany's World Cup squad impossible. Lewis Holtby's first Premier League goal gave Tottenham an important 2-1 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

It was an open game with chances at both ends, but it looked to be another rough night for Andre Villas-Boas when Fulham took the lead after half-time. However, a fine strike from Vlad Chiriches 15 minutes from the end gave Spurs hope before substitute Holtby's wonder-strike sealed the points for Spurs. Hugo Lloris was also instrumental in the victory making three wonderful saves.
