Alan Pardew confirms: "Good news on the injury front, apart from James McArthur and Brede Hangeland. We’re all fit."
McArthur (ankle ligaments) has been sidelined for the last two months but the midfielder is hoping to return to action within three weeks. There are no further details on the Hangeland injury. The big Norwegian last appeared in the squad as a substitute back in February but hasn’t had any game time since December. Emmanuel Adebayor will face a late fitness test after picking up an injury while on international duty. If he does miss out, then the 32-year-old is "likely" to be available for Wednesday. Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham have been passed fit but the latter is expected to start on the bench due to concerns over his fitness – striking responsibilities will be handed to Dwight Gayle who impressed from the bench at West Ham. Crystal Palace defender could Hangeland could keep his place in the team after he replaced the injured Scott Dann in Week 24.

A head injury forced Dann off at half-time at the King Power Stadium on Saturday but even if the defender is passed fit Pardew may prefer to stick with his replacement Hangeland after his inspired performance "He was the best player on the pitch [he won] everything in the air, [was] great defensively and contributed to the goal." Marouane Chamakh [broken nose] is expected to come back into contention but captain Mile Jedinak [ankle] is likely to miss out once again. Wednesday will come too soon for Jerome Thomas and Yannick Bolasie.

Former Fulham captain started his first match for Crystal Palace and scored their lone goal as the fell 2-1 to Arsenal late.

Things looked positive for the Eagles just days after Tony Pulis left the club unexpectedly. One of Pulis' acquisitions, Brede Hangeland, opened the scoring and put his new club up 1-0. It looked like the lead would survive until halftime but the Eagles conceded a Laurent Koscielny headed just before the half and then, just when they thought they might pick up a good away point they let in an Aaron Ramsey late winner.

In a very Tony Pulis move, Crystal Palace have moved to fortify their central defense with Brede Hangeland.

The move will add another veteran physical presence to the Palace defense as they look to build on an exceptional second half of last season after Tony Pulis took over. With Hangeland's health in question over the last two seasons he may be better suited to a reserve role but on a spot basis Pulis will hope he can rediscover the form that made him widely sought-after a few seasons ago.

Fulham have elected to end their relationship with long-time center back Brede Hangeland and reportedly did so via an email.

Fulham are clearly in disarray after a change in ownership, multiple managerial changes, and a relegation to the Championship. That still doesn't excuse the reported shabby treatment of long-time star central defender Brede Hangeland. The defender was reportedly informed via email that Fulham were terminating his contract. Given the heights that he helped the club achieve, including a Europa Cup final, you'd think he'd get a bit more respect. If he recovers his health, it will be interesting to see if a Premier League club will have interest in Hangeland as a valuable reserve.

Brede Hangeland was taken to a local hospital to further assess a head injury he sustained in Fulham's loss to Chelsea earlier today.

The injury occurred nine minutes into the match when he collided in the air with teammate Kieran Richardson. Richardson looked worse for the wear initially, remaining on the ground for some time, but it was Hangeland who needed to be subbed off five minutes later after dangerously attempting to continue to play through what could be a concussion. The last thing Fulham can afford is to lose their best center back for any length of time.

Brede Hangeland, out for nearly two months with a sciatic nerve issue, returned to the starting line-up for the Cottagers' FA Cup match with Norwich City.

Fulham have been giving up goals in bunches in the absence of their best defender but they will hope that their fortunes will be turned around with Hangeland recovered from surgery. It remains to be seen if he will start two matches inside of a week when Fulham travel to the Emirates on Saturday but Hangeland's long term availability for the second half of the season will be critical to their fight to stay up.

Brede Hangeland is back with Fulham's squad, but no decision has been made yet as to whether or not he's ready to play against West Ham.

West Ham have been in poor goalscoring form, but it would be a brave fantasy manager who invested in Fulham's defence.

Brede Hangeland, who has been sidelined with a leg injury for about a month, has been ruled out for Fulham in their weekend match with Swansea City, along with Damien Duff.

Hangeland is arguably Fulham's best defender and his absence can only help opposing attackers chances. With Wilfried Bony hitting a run of form and Michu still out with his own injury, these factors combine to make Bony an attractive forward option for week 12.

Brede Hangeland is back in training and in contention to start Fulham's weekend clash with Liverpool after recovering from a leg injury.

Hangeland's return will be welcome news for Fulham fans, as he is the heart of their defense. However, we have seen a fully fit back line for Fulham this season, and they have not exhibited much prowess in defense, registering only one clean sheet since the season opener. Still his presence can only help the Cottager's cause, and perhaps they can remain competitive with Liverpool this weekend rather than be thoroughly thrashed.

According to Fulham's official Twitter feed, manager Martin Jol has ruled out Brede Hangeland and Hugo Rodallega as the Cottagers get set to host Manchester United this weekend.

Hangeland continues to recover from a leg injury that kept him out of last week's match vs Southampton while Rodallega begins to heal from a groin injury that he suffered during his sub appearance against the Saints. Neither would have been fantasy prospects for this weekend, but the continued absence of Hangeland should only increase the value of having Manchester United attacking coverage.
