Swansea City manager Bob Bradley confirmed that the club has talked about potentially signing Dimitar Berbatov.
The former Manchester United and Tottenham star was released by Greek club PAOK and is now a free agent, confirmed that his hope is to return to the Premier League. With Swansea looking to add some firepower to its attack, Bradley said Berbatov has been mentioned: "I've met him a few times and I know he's anxious to get back in the PL. Everybody in our club knows that, so when there's discussions his name is mentioned. But where it goes we'll see. He's on our radar - but there are a lot of things on our radar." Dimitar Berbatov almost completed a deal to Aston Villa in the transfer window but ended up joining Greek side PAOK.

Berbatov failed to agree to terms with Aston Villa, who seem to be obsessed with bringing in Bulgarian players. The striker has gone overseas now and doesn't figure to ever be a Premier League player again. He can safely be dropped in all fantasy leagues, if he was for some odd reason owned already.

Dimitar Berbatov has signed with AS Monaco FC.

Berbatov could never get it going this season at Craven Cottage, scoring just four goals in league play, and with the marquee signing of Kostas Mitroglou earlier in the day, the move was bound to happen. Monaco will welcome the veteran sharpshooter to fill a need left by Lacina Traore, who moved to Everton. Fulham will have to chalk it up with most of their summer moves as a disppointment. Mitroglu should see plenty of action immediately for the Cottagers.

Fulham have signed Greece striker Kostas Mitroglou for a fee in the region of 12.5 million pounds.

Mitroglou comes in to replace Dimitar Berbatov, who has been allowed to go to Monaco for a medical that could allow him to move there on a loan. Mitroglou is a more than capable replacement and comes with Champions League and international experience. He has been a force playing for Greek club Olympiacos and has 41 goals in 86 appearances. He is capable of taking Fulham out of the relegation zone and will probably be worth a look in fantasy leagues.

Daniel Levy is interested in a cut-price bid to re-sign Dimitar Berbatov – even though head coach Tim Sherwood does not believe Tottenham need any more strikers.

Interesting. Jermain Defoe leaves for Toronto in February but Sherwood has reportedly told chairman Daniel Levy and director of football Franco Baldini that he is happy to finish the season with current strikers Emmanuel Adebyaor, Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane. However, it appears Levy has other ideas and wants to seal a £1.5million deal for Berbatov, who scored 46 goals for the club in his first spell between 2007 and 2008 before moving to Manchester United for £30million. A chairman signing players a manager doesn't want - what can go wrong?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not interested in Fulham's Dimitar Berbatov despite his relatively low price tag (transfer fee - estimated at £2 million).

"Dimitar Berbatov is a not a name we have considered, at the moment. I don't want to go into speculation on any specific names as that would not help and would be disrespectful to the club where they are playing at the moment. We are just considering our options and I must confess they are quite restricted. We have not even been out in the transfer market, we have not contacted anybody. We are just analyzing our own situation and, of course, being very cautious until we are well informed about [Nicklas] Bendtner and [Yaya] Sanogo, who is back in training now. We will make a decision after that," said Wenger. Berbatov is Fulham's co-leader in goals (4) with Steve Sidwell. He has three goals and an assist in his last four appearances so it's doubtful manager Rene Meulensteen would depart with the former Man United striker unless the offer was too good to pass up.

Dimitar Berbatov made his first start since returning from a groin injury and scored what proved to be the winning goal for Fulham, who earn a vital three points in their 2-1 victory over West Ham United.

After conceding the opening goal to the Hammers, Steve Sidwell leveled the game in the 32nd minute and thanks to a cross sent into the box by Alex Kacaniklic, which Scott Parker got a touch on, Berbatov was able to camp out on the far post, and he tapped it in easily. Berbatov's best years are behind him but he still has a nose for the net. With a home game next against bottom of the table Sunderland, he is certainly worthy of consideration.

Dimitar Berbatov faces a late fitness test ahead of Fulham's crunch match-up against West Ham United.

Berbatov has been struggling with a groin injury, and has not featured for the Cottagers since scoring against Everton.

Dimitar Berbatov faces a late fitness test ahead of Fulham's match with Norwich City while Philippe Senderos has been ruled out for the next two matches.

Berbatov picked up a groin injury that kept him out of last weekend's loss to Manchester City and Fulham aren't exactly deep at the striker position so it will be a tricky scenario for Rene Muelensteen to handle. With a cluster of games ahead, he needs to secure points and will want Berbatov's scoring abilities present but if he rushes him back too soon, he could run the risk of prolonging the problem. Senderos' absence depletes an already banged up defense even further, but there has been little reason to invest in the Cottagers back line this season anyway.

Dimitar Berbatov scored from the penalty spot to level the game at 1-1 with Everton, but the Toffees turned on the gas and ran over the Cottagers from that point on, culminating in a 4-1 final.

After scoring just once in his first 14 league appearances, Berbatov has now registered a goal in back to back games, though it is difficult to assume he has hit a patch of form when the goals come from penalties. Still, like last week, Berbatov converted the chance with confidence and will be hoping to build off of that in what may be the final few weeks of his short career at Craven Cottage. With Manchester City paying a visit next weekend, the veteran Belgian will probably have an opportunity at a consolation goal at what should otherwise be a one-sided affair.

Fulham snapped a six game losing streak and earned a crucial three points, beating Aston Villa 2-0 thanks to goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Steve Sidwell.

Berbatov scored from the penalty spot today for his second goal of the season which sadly enough would have tied him for the club lead, but leader Steve Sidwell collected his third as the Cottagers fielded an XI with an average age of over 31 years old. The win puts them level with West Ham on points but they remain in the relegation zone due to goal difference. Fulham will travel to face Everton next. It would be difficult to back Berbatov there.

Fulham's attack came to life during their visit of Selhurst Park, with four Cottagers finding the net, including Dimitar Berbatov for the first time this season, and they cruised to a 1-4 win against Crystal Palace.

Berbatov played with a sense of determination in this one and his headed goal from a Bryan Ruiz corner was the reward for his efforts. The other three goals for Fulham came off the volley, two of which (from Kasami and Sidwell) were an absolute pleasure to witness. Fulham was averaging under a goal per game going into this fixture, but Crystal Palace are now conceding an average of over two goals a match so temper expectations next week when the Cottagers travel to the fortress that is Southampton. It is likely this scoreline is more a reflection of Palace's shoddy defense than it is Fulham's new found attacking form.

Fulham's leading man, Dimitar Berbatov faces a late fitness check as he hopes to face off with Chelsea in the West London Derby.

Fulham already face a Chelsea squad that you'd imagine would be a bit angry coming off consecutive losses to teams that they should beat. Add to that the fact that Bryan Ruiz is definitely out and they could also be missing talisman Dimitar Berbatov who faces a late test of his hamstring. Darren Bent is back in the squad but his fitness for a full 90 minutes is questionable given his time off for injury.
