With Tomer Hemed suspended and other first team forwards injured, Brighton manager Chris Hughton may be forced to turn to Izzy Brown to lead the line for his side on Sunday at the Emirates.
Hemed has been suspended for stepping on DeAndre Yedlin during the Seagulls' win over Newcastle on Sunday whilst Glenn Murray and Sam Baldock continue their recoveries from injuries. Jamie Murphy, who played as a false nine in the Carabao Cup against Bournemouth, is unlikely to be deployed ahead of Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown who is back from injury. "What we always wanted and what you need, certainly at this level, is options," Hughton said. "At this moment we are fortunate that Tomer is doing it, but he is also staying fit. The other option is Izzy Brown, who has only just come back from injury and who really is a number ten." Brown has played little this term, starting the first PL game of the season before limping off and not figuring since. He was an unused sub against Newcastle last weekend. Sep 27 - 11:27 AM

The Seagulls' second ever Premier League game and first on the road takes them to Leicester but Brown will not be there owing to a hamstring injury. The youngster spent the last week at his parent club being assessed but will now return to Brighton to continue his recovery. Defensive midfielder Beram Kayal and forward Sam Baldock are also sidelined this weekend. However, the good news for the club is that Anthony Knockaert may be fit to start against his former club after coming off the bench for 13 minutes last weekend.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton is waiting for an injury update on Izzy Brown after the Chelsea loanee returned to his parent club for further tests.

The 20-year-old pulled up sharply grabbing his right hamstring midway through the first half on Saturday as he tried to thwart a Manchester City counter-attack, and as is normal procedure for loan players, he has returned to SW6 to be assessed. Brown has settled well since his arrival on the south coast and to lose the attacking midfielder for any period of time at this stage of the season would be a massive blow for Hughton. On a more positive note, Anthony Knockaert continued his recovery from an ankle ligament injury by playing 15 minutes and the Brighton boss maybe tempted to throw the winger back into his starting XI following another week of training. Beram Kayal is expected to miss around 2 months after fracturing his fibula on the eve of the new campaign while Sam Baldock is taking much longer than originally anticipated to recover from calf surgery.

Brighton and Hove Albion have signed Chelsea midfielder Izzy Brown on loan for the coming 2017/18 season.

The 20 year old midfielder also signed a four year contract with Chelsea as he departed for the AMEX Stadium. The attack-minded midfielder spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League new-boys Huddersfield, for whom he was a consistent starter. The Terriers had been looking to re-sign the player though he has opted to move to the south coast club instead. He was deployed as a shadow striker last season in the Championship, making 35 appearances, getting on the score-sheet 7 times and notching up a further 5 assists. He has had loan spells with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem and Rotherham previously, having begun his career at West Brom. Manager Chris Hughton said: "The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League - and we are delighted he will be doing that with us, here at Brighton."

Chelsea have loaned out Isaiah Brown to Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan.

Brown is one of Chelsea's most hyped up prospect and the forward will deservedly get some playing time this season. The purpose of the loan is to develop the player to his full potential so the Blues can then either use or sell him. Brown is only 18 years old and will not be a fantasy Premier League option for at least a few years, but Chelsea will likely reap the benefits of his development.

Chelsea are interested in West Brom striker Isaiah Brown but will have to fight Arsenal for him.

The 16 year old is considered one of the most promising young footballers and its not a surprise Chelsea are interested. The youngster will probably be loaned or put in the youth team if they land him because at 16, he is probably not ready for Chelsea first team football.
