Russia drew South Korea 1-1 in what was a fairly poor match for both sides.
Russian goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev had a few dropped shots and shaky rebounds early in the game but a second half error cost his team. Akinfeev tried to catch a long, semi-powerful shot and ended up dropping it into his own goal. The Russian rebounded and were able to score through substitute Alexander Kerzhakov. Kerzhakov played well and should start the next match if Russia want to have a chance of beating anyone. Tue, Jun 17, 2014 08:14:00 PM
