Hull City suffered a triple injury blow in the New Years’ Day win over Everton and manager Steve Bruce has confirmed the club are still waiting to discover the full extent of the problems to Andrew Robertson, Gaston Ramirez and Liam Rosenior.
None of the trio will be involved in Sundays’ FA Cup trip to the Emirates and will remain in the treatment room along with Robert Snodgrass, Michael Dawson and Mo Diame although the Tigers’ will welcome Tom Huddlestone, Stephen Quinn and James Chester back from suspension for the third round tie. Andrew Robertson was able to confirm his ankle was not broken although there is suspected ligament damage with Ramirez [groin] and Rosenior [hamstring] both nursing soft tissue injuries which could result in a number of weeks on the sidelines. Steve Bruce will be hoping to come through the game unscathed with Abel Hernandez – suffering from fatigue – and the Hatem Ben Arfa ending his loan spell. Jan 3 - 5:41 PM

Liam Rosenior scored a goal for Hull City but it wasn't enough as his team fell 3-1 to Aston Villa.

It wasn't a great match for Hull City and they've certainly lost form as we approach the end of the season. The good news is that they are very likely to stay in the Premier League another season. The only way for them to be relegated is if they lose both games and Norwich City beat both Chelsea and Arsenal. Hull will have to make some moves in the summer and provide their striker duo of Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long some support in midfield. The future can be bright for Hull, but they need a flawless transfer window in the summer.
