Ahmed Elmohamady contributed across the board to Hull City's Week 14 draw at Goodison Park.
There wasn't a ton to love from a fantasy point of view outside of Sone Aluko's goal and even that was probably not terribly useful because he came in off the bench to score. One bright spot in the match was Ahmed Elmohamady's combination of three passes intercepted, three tackles won, two successful crosses and a corner won. It made for a solid 11 point outing in the Yahoo scoring system, the only HCFC starter to make it to double digits. Dec 4 - 2:34 PM

Ahmed Elmohamady returned an assist and a strong overall performance for the second straight week in Hull City's Week 5 draw with Newcastle.

It is a shame for fantasy managers that most fantasy formats list Ahmed Elmohamady as a midfielder because he is typically playing as a right back these days but still getting forward and getting attacking points. Hull City aren't keeping many clean sheets so the mis-classification isn't likely hurting his value too much but after two straight weeks with an assist and a double-digit Yahoo format in Week 5 he would be a great buy as a defender. As it stands he's a solid buy against mediocre competition as a midfielder.

Ahmed Elmohamady scored Hull City's first goal and assisted on Sone Aluko's winner to see Hull City one step closer to the Europa Cup group stages.

Robbie Brady, returning from an illness that kept him out of the first leg, set up Elmohamady for a powerful header that drew Steve Bruce's men even after giving up an early goal to AS Trencin. Elmohamady then turned provider late when he headed a Robert Snodgrass ball toward Sone Aluko who drove it home from close range. The win means one home-and-home tie (opponent still to be decided) from the Europa Cup group stages. Heady stuff for a club that was promoted to the Premier League last season.

Ahmed Elmohamady's errant pass found white hot Peter Odemwingie just outside the box and the Stoke forward fired it home for the only goal of the day in Hull City's 1-0 loss to the Potters.

Overall it has been a strong season for Elmohamady but a lone mistake today cost his team a point. The trip to the Britannia Stadium is never an easy one for mid-table opposition and today proved no different as Stoke put up a defensive wall and even won the possession battle. Elmohamady's errant pass ended up at the feet of the wrong player, the in-form Peter Odemwingie, and that was the difference between the sides.

Ahmed Elmohamady, who had been having a strong season, was the weak link in two Hull City losses to Tottenham over the course of 4 days.

The midfielder was at fault in Hull City's 1-0 loss to Tottenham over the weekend as he committed the penalty that was the difference between a hard-fought point against a top half team and nothing. Adding to his woe in the League Cup, Elmohamady missed the decisive spot kick after extra time failed to decide the match. As a result, Spurs won the penalty shootout 8-7. The shootout also featured misses from Spurs' Erik Lamela and Hull City's Aaron Mclean.

Ahmed Elmohamady will be assessed before returning to the Hull City starting line-up after a long trip on Egypt duty over the international break.

Elmohamady has been a surprisingly productive fantasy player thus far this season. The trip to Goodison Park probably means that you weren't thinking about including Elmohamady but if you were this should probably push your decision in another direction.

Ahmed Elmohamady has made his loan from Sunderland to Hull City permanent. He will stay with the Tigers, and Steve Bruce, the manager who originally brought him to Sunderland.

Elmohamady scored 3 goals and assited 9 others from his right-wing role. He was voted Hull's Player of the Season, and it was important for them to retain his services heading into the Premier League season.
