Liverpool midfielder Suso has completed his £1 million switch to AC Milan on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The 21-year-old Spaniard was due to be out of contract in the summer but has cut his Anfield stay short by six months. Suso moved to Liverpool from Spanish side Cadiz CF in 2010 as a youth player and made his debut for the Reds in 2012. Suso has not played for the Liverpool first team since their Capital One Cup penalty shoot-out win over Middlesbrough at Anfield on September 23. The 21-year-old Spaniard departs Anfield for Serie A four-and-a-half years after joining the Reds from Cadiz CF. Tue, Jan 20, 2015 01:01:00 PM

Ex-Chelsea striker Fernando Torres will make his move to AC Milan permanent on January 5th.

Torres has been on loan at AC Milan and will now finalize the move. There are rumors about him going to on-loan to Atletico Madrid, but either way he is not returning to the Premier League. He has been replaced by Diego Costa at Chelsea and there is no chance he is coming back anytime soon.

Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly interested in Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.

Torres is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge at the moment with Diego Costa and Didier Drogba in front of him and Chelsea may want to get back some of the money they paid for him. The Spanish striker hasn't been the same since coming to Chelsea but still has a few years left of football for him and has the potential to be a goal scorer once again. Milan are also interested in Marco van Ginkel, although Chelsea are unlikely to sell him.

Reports have surfaced about Didier Drogba striking a one-year deal with his former club, Chelsea.

Chelsea were after the star striker last summer but couldn't land a deal. Drogba is now a free-agent after his contract with Galatasaray has expired. We envision the Ivory Coast international to take on a role similar to the one he played in the World Cup this summer. Drogba is likely to come off a bench when Chelsea need a goal and provide a target man for long balls and crosses. The arrival is worry-some for Fernando Torres, whose playing time might decrease even more with Drogba in town.

Fernando Torres and Juan Mata led Spain to a 3-0 win over Australia in a meaningless Group B match.

Both teams have been eliminated from the World Cup but Spain put on a show to end their disappointing campaign. They started a revamped lineup that featured some new faces and that paid off. David Villa scored in his last international match to open up the scoring and Fernando Torres made it 2-0 with a fantastic goal. Later on, new Chelsea signing Cesc Fabregas played a brilliant pass to Juan Mata, who made it 3-0. Game, set, match but no World Cup.

Diego Costa has passed his medical at Chelsea according to SkySports.

SkySports are known as one of the more reliable sources when it comes to rumors and this deal now seems imminent. Costa scored 36 goals for Atletico Madrid next season and will look to establish himself as the number one striker at Chelsea. The Blues can really use some goals from the striker position after a season in which Fernando Torres, Demba Ba, and Samuel Eto'o all struggled to score. Costa will be a great fantasy pick if he completes his move to Chelsea.

Fernando Torres scored the winning goal to give Chelsea a 2-1 win over Cardiff.

Cardiff took the lead early on but Chelsea pressed and pressed until two second half goals gave them the win. Substitute Andre Schurrle scored the first and Fernando Torres scored the winner to give Chelsea a win on the last day. The Blues finish in third place behind Liverpool and Manchester City in what should be considered a relative successful season. Jose Mourinho seems determined to stay a long time and this was a good step towards the goal of winning Premier League and Champions League titles. Cardiff have been relegated to the Championship.

Fernando Torres returned from injury last weekend but struggled to make an impact despite looking healthy.

Torres has struggled with injuries all season and has never really found any sort of form. What's worse is, Samuel Eto'o has played well recently and seems to be the preferred choice at the moment in the bigger games. Torres is fantasy irrelevant at the moment.

Jose Mourinho confirmed the initial report that Fernando Torres will miss a couple of weeks with his groin injury.

Mourinho also added that the next couple of games will be a choice between Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba. With the way Eto'o has been playing, I would expect him to start Chelsea's next game, with Ba possibly coming off the bench again. Chelsea forwards have been rotated a lot this season and all make for a fairly poor fantasy choice. Midfielder Eden Hazard, who is classified as a forward in the Yahoo game, is the only one guaranteed to start and produce fantasy value.

Fernando Torres hurt his groin during warm-ups and was pulled out of Chelsea's match against Tottenham on Saturday.

Torres is expected to miss a couple of weeks with his groin and Samuel Eto'o is his most likely replacement. Eto'o replaced him against Tottenham and played well. Demba Ba came off the bench and scored two goals but Eto'o is the clear favorite to start next week. Torres has struggled with injuries all season long and that has prevented him from getting in any type of rhythm.

Fernando Torres is set for a recall against West Brom but it's uncertain if he will start.

Fernando Torres will return to Chelsea's squad after missing a few weeks with a knee injury. Samuel Eto'o has played well in his absence so it's unknown whether Torres will start. The most likely scenario is an appearance off the bench.

Fernando Torres is set to miss Chelsea's clash with Newcastle but is targeting a return against West Brom on Tuesday.

Torres has already returned to training but he won't be fit enough for Saturday and Chelsea have enough depth to afford not to risk him. Samuel Eto'o has played admirably during his absence but the two are likely going to be in some sort of timeshare once the Spaniard returns. That decreases both of their fantasy values and makes them a risky play most weeks.

Fernando Torres has been ruled out for at least a month with left knee ligament damage.

The exact extent of the injury is unknown but Jose Mourinho said Torres will miss at least a month. This is a huge blow for the striker as he had just picked up steam and been a big part of the club in recent weeks. During his absence, expect to see a lot more of Samuel Eto'o and some of Demba Ba. Eto'o's value increases drastically.

Fernando Torres has been enjoying his recent success and Jose Mourinho believes he will be an important part of their title run.

Torres has scored in his last two Premier League games and Mourinho is happy with the striker's overall performance. Torres hasn't played up to expectations in the past two years but has shown flashes of his old self at times and if he can remain healthy, he is certainly capable of being a force.

Chelsea took care of business in Southampton and left with a comfortable 3-0 win.

Chelsea once again struggled to convert their chances in the first half, but second half strikes from Fernando Torres, Oscar, and Willian were more than enough to give them the three points. Chelsea leave Southampton in third place but looked great during the congested holiday season and will feel good being only two points behind league leaders Arsenal.
