Nevada senior quarterback Colin Kaepernick finally got the win that has eluded him all of his college career as Nevada toppled Boise State 34-31 in overtime.  In the contest, Kaepernick threw for 259 yards, a touchdown, and an interception while adding 45 yards rushing and another score.

This is the lowest offensive output for Kaepernick in their last three meetings, but it certainly was what his team needed to get the win.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick did not need to run the ball much to put away New Mexico State as he only had 35 yards and a touchdown on the ground.  Kaepernick did the bulk of his damage through the air with 251 yards and two touchdowns.

Kaepernick still produced despite focusing on passing most likely in anticipation for next week's game against Boise State.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick turned 23 today and hopes to celebrate this weekend by closing in on two Nevada records. Kaepernick's 52 rushing touchdowns and 73 passing touchdowns are just one and five short of Wolfpack career records respectively.

There are some guys that you think have played forever, but it seems like just yesterday we were watching the lanky quarterback turn into a fantasy sensation against Fresno State after Nick Graiziano went down with a foot injury. Kaepernick's numbers are mind numbing and he's a sure college fantasy football hall of famer.

Kaepernick will continue to roast WAC defenses and is guaranteed start outside of the Boise State game (and you may still want to start him anyways).

Even when Kaepernick has a bad day, he is still worth three touchdowns so continue to start him.

BYU will be without starting free safety Steve Thomas this week against Nevada due to a concussion.  To make matters worse, strong safety Andrew Rich is probable with a shoulder bruise and All-MWC cornerback Brian Logan is questionable with shoulder inflammation.

Note good considering the Cougars will be facing one of the best quarterbacks in the country this week in Colin Kaepernick.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick accounted for five touchdowns in the upset over Cal.  He threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns while running for 148 yards and three scores.

Kaepernick continues to amaze.  He showed he should be started no matter the matchup.  If it wasn't for some guy names Shoelace, Kaepernick would be the guy fantasy owners would be drooling over early in the season.  He has 728 yards passing, 369 yards rushing, and 13 touchdowns through three games.

Colin Kaepernick was worth four total touchdowns against Colorado State as the Wolfpack rolled to a 51-6 victory.  Kaepernick was 21-of-29 passing for 241 yards and two touchdowns and added 161 yards rushing and another two scores.

Kaepernick was good on the ground as usual, but his passing appears to be improving rapidly, making him and the Pistol offense that much more dangerous.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, tight end Virgil Green, defensive end Ryan Coulson and linebacker James-Michael Johnson have been named Nevada's team captains.

There has been little news on Kaepernick this summer, which is probably a good thing.  All systems appear to be a go for the lanky fantasy stud.

Fresno State and Nevada have been offered an invitation to join the Mountain West Conference, and each will accept. This leaves the schools' former conference, the WAC, left with only six teams and seemingly on life support.
