According to ESPN sources, TCU has accepted an invitation to join the Big East as an all-sports member. An official announcement is expect at 1 p.m. CT.
Good get for the Big East. Unfortunately it devalues the Mountain West who has gone through more turnover than any other conference the last six months. Andy Dalton - QB - Horned Frogs

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton (elbow injury on Saturday) will be fine for the Horned Frogs' bowl game, which may very well be The Granddaddy of Them All.

A Rose Bowl would be a fitting cap to a career for Dalton, one of the nation's steadiest quarterbacks (if not among the best) these last couple of years.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton left the game against New Mexico in the second quarterback after suffering an elbow injury.  Dalton came back onto the sidelines but didn't enter the game again.

It is not known what the extent of the injury is but the Horned Frogs do not have another game until their bowl game.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton stepped up once again to lead his team over another upset-minded opponent with 240 yards passing and four touchdowns as the Horned Frogs escaped with the win against San Diego State.

Dalton has gone from game manager to game changer and is a smart start.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton does not normally put up gaudy stats to get wins for his team, but against Utah he certainly did.  Dalton finished the rout with 355 yards passing and three touchdowns while completing 21-of-26 passes.

Dalton is not a fantasy superstar but will do whatever it takes to get the win.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton had the Cougars whimpering by the end of the night after throwing for 273 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-3 win.

Dalton is a spotty performer at quarterback just because he has such a talented backfield but he still does make a solid, if not always spectacular, starter.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton had just three incomplete passes against Wyoming as he completed 14-of-17 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns.  Dalton even added 42 yards rushing as the Horned Frogs ran away with the game.

When you throw as many touchdowns as you do incompletions, that is a good day in any book.

TCU got the win but quarterback Andy Dalton had some struggles against rival SMU.  Dalton finished on 14-of-26 passing for 174 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.  Dalton did find success on the ground carrying the ball seven times for 43 yards.

The two interceptions are a bit uncharacteristic for the normally unflappable quarterback but he is still a decent option in deeper leagues.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton completed 21 of 23 passes for 269 yards and two TDs in a win over Baylor.  He added 26 rushing yards on four attempts.

Dalton led the team to five first half TD drives to blow the game open.  He was nearly flawless on the day and has another great matchup with SMU next on the schedule.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton notched his 30th career victory by passing for 175 yards, rushing for 64 yards, while finding the end zone three times.

Dalton won't wow the fantasy community with his overall numbers, but he is pretty solid when all the stats are added up.  The Horned Frogs have some playmakers on offense so he will be useful in national leagues in the certain matchups.

Horned Frog fans can breath a sigh of relief as Patterson has been a hot name in the coaching rumor mill, including the open Notre Dame job.

Andy Dalton - QB - Horned Frogs

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns on 15-of-24 passing and ran for 45 yards and a score in Saturday's 51-10 regular season finale over New Mexico, bringing the Horned Frogs to 12-0 on the year.

Dalton's primary target, Antoine Hicks, had five receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the game. Both scoring grabs came in the second quarter, just 12 seconds apart from one another.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton had 239 yards and two touchdowns on 14-of-20 passing and rushed for 44 yards and two scores as the Horned Frogs remain undefeated after their 55-12 victory over San Diego State.

Dalton found senior Ryan Christian three times for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the game. The Frogs also rushed for 312 yards, with three running backs - Ed Wesley, Joseph Turner and Matthew Tucker - finding the end zone.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for three touchdowns and 178 yards in the Horned Frogs' shutout of UNLV on Saturday.

Generally touted for their stiff defense, the TCU offense netted 390 yards in the game. This marks Dalton's second consecutive three-touchdown performance.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns on 13 of 24 passing in Saturday's 38-7 victory over BYU.

Dalton's 241 yards passing is a season-high for the junior. As usual, the TCU defense also shined in the game, sacking BYU's Max Hall four times on their way to the win.
