Arizona was without running back Nic Grigsby (ankle), wide receiver Bug Wright (ankle), and wide receiver David Roberts (concussion) in the loss to USC.
The Wildcat offense didn't appear to miss any of them but Grigsby could have been used to help jump start the running game.  Look for them all to return next week against Oregon.  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 10:45:00 PM

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby re-aggravated his right ankle injury on his only carry of the game in the loss at Stanford.  He finished with one carry for two yards.

Grigsby has all but seen his great start to the season slip away.  Even if he can manage to get healthy in the next couple of weeks, there is no promise that he will regain his starting job with the way that Keola Antolin is playing.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby's sprained ankle isn't expected to keep him out of this weekend's tilt against Stanford.

Grigsby got hurt late in the first quarter against UCLA and wasn't able to return to the game.  Even though he is expected to play, Keola Antolin has all but wrestled away the feature back role for the Wildcats.  Keep expectations for Grigsby down around 50 yards and a touchdown.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby left the game in the first quarter against UCLA with a sprained right ankle.  He finished with five carries for 31 yards and one catch for 11 yards.

The injury is not considered serious but Grigsby had seen some of his carries shift to Keola Antolin even before the injury.  He is becoming more and more dependent on his touchdowns (nine) to make a difference in fantasy leagues.  The senior can probably be traded in dynasty leagues if you can get a draft pick in return.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby had 12 carries for 50 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Washington.

It appears that he is no longer the feature back for the Wildcats (that would be Keola Antolin) but he is still producing.  He has nine touchdowns in seven games but his upside is limited as he appears to be a 12-15 carry back going forward.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby has been limited by a hip flexor. Grigsby is expected to play this week against Washington State.

Nothing heals a running back quicker than a date with Wazzu. Grigsby and running mate Keola Antolin have a good chance to rack up some fantasy points this week.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby had five carries for 22 yards in the loss to Oregon State.  He added two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown through the air.

The Wildcats were playing catch up from the get-go and didn't have much time to try and establish a running game.  Grigsby has disappointed this year with only 274 rushing yards through five games, but owners have to be pleased with his six touchdowns.  Hopefully he can top the century mark next week against Washington State.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby carried the ball 12 times for 65 yards in the win over Cal.  He added three catches for 10 yards.

Not exactly the day fantasy owners had hoped for after watching Nevada run all over the Bears last weekend.  Grigsby is still a good option going forward as he is second in the conference with five rushing touchdowns.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby had a disappointing game in the Wildcats upset of Iowa.  He finished with 14 carries for 27 yards and fumbled in the red zone.

His four catches for 24 yards helped out some, but much more was expected.  He is still off to a decent start with 187 yards and five rushing touchdowns through three games.  If wide receiver Juron Criner is out for an extended period of time, look for the Wildcats to focus more on the running game.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby had 11 carries for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the win over The Citadel.  He added two catches for nine yards.

He finished his day with a 62-yard touchdown run on the third play of the third quarter. He has shown he is healthy early on this season and could be poised for another 1,000 yard rushing season with double-digit scores.

Arizona RB Nic Grigsby carried the ball eight times for 53 yards and two touchdowns in their win over Toledo.  He added three catches for 24 yards as well.  He was listed as the starter but Keola Antolin was the first back to carry the rock.

Grigsby showed the ability that allowed him to rush for 1,153  yards in 2008 when he made several defenders miss on a dazzling 36-yard score in the second quarter.  His eight carries led the team on a night when they won by 39 points.  It appears the Wildcats are going to try and make a living through the air so Grigbsy will have a tough time crossing the 1,000 yard plateau this season.

Arizona senior running back Nic Grigsby strained his right hamstring during team drills. It is unknown when he will be able to resume practicing.

A lot was expected from Grigsby last year after running for 1,153 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore, but injuries limited him to a modest 581 yards and five touchdowns in 2009.  He stated prior to spring practice that he was only 85% recovered from his shoulder injury sustained last fall.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby (shoulder) will miss his second consecutive game this week as his teammates take on USC.

Keola Antolin and Greg Nwoko will again carry much of the load for the Wildcats.

Arizona coach Mike Stoops told the East Valley Tribune that running back Nic Grigsby (shoulder) will miss Saturday's game with Arizona State, and fellow back Keola Antolin (shoulder) is questionable.

Look for big Greg Nwoko to see more carries should Antolin miss some or all of the contest.

Arizona running back Nic Grigsby (shoulder) is close to 100 percent according to coach Mike Stoops.

Grigsby has missed most of the last two games and  Keola Antolin has carried most of the load in his absence. The two should split the workload this week against Oregon.
