A bowl win would give Kellen Moore and the Boise State senior class a record 50 wins.

Moore and the rest of the Broncos' senior class enter their Dec. 22 Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State with a 49-3 record. A win over the Sun Devils would give them 50 and a new NCAA standard. Earlier this season, Moore broke Colt McCoy's mark for career wins as a starting QB.

The Touchdown Club of Columbus (Ohio) has named its quarterback award after Boise State’s Kellen Moore.

Moore, who has won an NCAA-record 49 games as a starting quarterback, won the award for the second straight season. The award debuted in 1991 with the Florida State’s Casey Weldon the inaugural winner.

Boise State’s Kellen Moore threw for 313 yards and 3 TDs in a 45-0 win over visiting New Mexico.

After Boise State lost to TCU on Nov. 12, Moore’s season unfortunately became an afterthought as far as the national spotlight. In three games since that defeat to the Horned Frogs, in which he threw for 320 yards and 2/0, Moore has 958 yards passing and 10/2. He finished the regular season for 3,497 yards and 41 TDs for 11-1 BSU.

Kellen Moore threw for 279 yards and 3 TDs in Boise State’s 36-14 win over visiting Wyoming.

The game was 13-7 at the half before the Broncos pulled away in the third quarter behind a pair of Moore TD passes. The senior was 24-of-36 for 279 yards and 3/1. Moore went over 3,000 yards on the season and has 38 touchdown passes.

Kellen Moore added another solid passing game to his resume, going 23-for-29 for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns in a record-tying win against Air Force.

Moore's victory is his 45th, tying him with Colt McCoy for most all-time as a QB. The senior did his part as usual, completing almost 80 percent of his passes and hitting 3 different targets for TDs. Moore's latest stat line pushes his season's total to 24 TDs to only 5 INTs.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore can tie Colt McCoy’s FBS record for wins with a victory over Air Force.

Moore is 44-2 and the Broncos have Air Force at home, where they have not lost a regular season game since 2001. Hence, the chances are outstanding that he moves alongside McCoy in the NCAA record book. Following a bye, Moore would then have a chance at win No. 46 at UNLV on Nov. 5. McCoy went 45-8 in four seasons with Texas.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw for 338 yards and 4 TDs in a 63-13 win over Colorado State.

Moore completed 26-of-30 passes against the Rams and his 4 TD passes marked the third time this season he has thrown at least that many. Through six games, he has 21 TD and 4 INTs.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw 3 TD passes in a 57-7 win over Fresno State on Friday night.

This was like a walk in the park for the Broncos, who had contributions from far and wide with Moore leading the way. He was 23-31-254 with the 3 TDs for the turnover-free Broncos, who forced 4 TOs. Moore now has thrown 14 TD passes on the season. He and backup QB Joe Southwick combined to connect with 11 -- 11! -- different receivers.

Boise State (3-0) won their 33rd consecutive regular season home game behind 23-of-29 passing from Kellen Moore for 279 yards.

Moore totaled four passing touchdowns, including a pair to WR Tyler Shoemaker, in fewer than three quarters. The early exit might have been due to an apparent right knee injury, as Moore was seen wearing a brace on the knee and noticeably limping at times. We'll keep you updated as more information becomes available but the injury does not appear to be serious. Through three games, Moore has 995 yards passing and twelve touchdowns.

Last year Boise State wide receiver Kirby Moore redshirted and now that Titus Young and Austin Pettis are gone, Moore is looking to step up and catch some more touchdown passes from big brother Kellen Moore.  Moore has worked hard in the offseason and is primed for a breakout season. 

One of the biggest things for a wide receiver to be productive is to have a good relationship with the quarterback, and as you can imagine, Kirby and Kellen have a good relationship.  There are more athletic options for the Broncos but expect Kellen to go to Kirby early and often.

Boise coach Chris Petersen has decided to remain with the Broncos rather than pursue the head coaching gig at Stanford.

As so many coaches foam at the mouth at the thought of more money, it's almost refreshing to see one content to make a boatload of money in his current locale.

The final regular season BCS rankings were altered on Tuesday after a glitch was found. Apparently a game involving Appalachian State and Western Illinois was mistakenly left out of one of the computer rankings. The fix was made and Boise State jumps to 10 and LSU moves down to 11. "This error should not have happened and is unacceptable," BCS executive director Bill Hancock. Hancock added that he was "deeply disturbed" by the error.

Ohhh the horror. The fact that we are worrying about a FCS playoff game and how it effects BCS rankings speaks volumes to the lunacy of the system.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore helped his team get over the loss to Nevada as he helped put away Utah State.  Moore threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns while even rushing for a score.

Moore is a fantasy star but lately has not been as potent in certain games because they blow teams out so early but make no mistake, he is still an elite quarterback.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw for a respectable 348 yards and two touchdowns in the upset loss to Nevada.

Moore is as good a quarterback as there is but this time couldn't do enough for his team to get the 'W'.
