Six times this season Weeden topped 390 yards passing and he finished with 4,727 yards, a total that will be second nationally to Case Keenum upon the completion of the bowl season. Brandon Weeden threw for a season-low 217 yards and, for the first time as Oklahoma State’s starting quarterback, he failed to throw a touchdown pass.

All the above mattered none as the Pokes romped to a 44-10 win over Oklahoma in Stillwater. Weeden, it should be noted, did not throw an interception after throwing three in a loss to Iowa State. Weeden had thrown at least one TD passes in all 25 games as the OSU starting QB. His 217 yards were also a low as a starter. He twice threw for 218 yards: his first-career start last year against Washington State and earlier this season against Texas.

Brandon Weeden threw for 476 yards and 3 TDs, but he threw 3 INTs in a 37-31 2OT loss at Iowa State.

Andrew Luck (Stanford), Trent Richardson (Alabama), Kellen Moore (Boise State) and now Brandon Weeden are top Heisman candidates that have gone down in defeat the past couple weeks. It was not the most picturesque of performances for a top Heisman candidate to begin with, but a third INT in overtime hurts. The other numbers look great: 42-of-58 for 476 yards and 3 TDs. But the 3 picks and a loss against an ISU team that just became bowl eligible doesn’t look good. Luck and the Cardinal lost to Oregon, Richardson and the Tide to LSU and Moore and the Broncos to TCU. All three can be excused for losing to those opponents. The Pokes, No. 2 in the BCS coming in, are still in the national title picture like the other one-loss teams now are. That is what will make these last couple weeks very entertaining....Weeden went over 4,000 yards passing on the season and he now has 34 TDs. He has thrown for nearly 1,400 the past three weeks.

Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden threw for a season-low 218 yards, but the Cowboys topped Texas, 38-24.

There were season lows just about everywhere in Weeden’s stat line. They included his passing yards (218), completions (23), completion percentage (56.1) and touchdown passes (1). Weeden also averaged less than 10 yards per completion. Did we say he did not throw an interception in a 14-point victory in Austin? Weeden has 2,098 yards passing 16 TDs on the season.

Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden threw 5 first-half touchdown passes in a 70-28 blowout of Kansas.

Weeden's day lasted only one half. With a 56-7 lead after 30 minutes, there was no need for coach Mike Gundy to play his QB any longer. Weeden, who has completed 75.7 percent of his passes this season, was 24-of-28 for 288 yards. In two games against the Jayhawks, he is 55-of-71 for 677 yards and 8/0.

Oklahoma State QB Brandon Weeden completed 47-of-60 (78.3%) attempts for 437 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s win over Texas A&M.

It was a masterful game for Weeden, who spread the ball to 12 different receivers including double-digit completions to Blackmon, Josh Cooper, and Hubert Anyiam. Down 20-3 at half, Weeden lead Oklahoma State to 27 consecutive points in the third and fourth quarters in route to a 30-29 come-from-behind victory. The Aggies turned the ball over three times during the third quarter where the Cowboys outscored them 21-0.

New Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken is excited about getting to work...and learning all about the offense of former offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen.

Very rare that a new OC arrives to learn a new offense rather than install his own scheme, however we can clearly file this under "if it ain't broke" category. There are no certainties, however owners of Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon must be pleased that Moken isn't going all Tommy Tuberville on the OSU offense.

According to ESPN 's Joe Schad, Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden and wide receiver Justin Blackmon are returning to school.

This is huge boost for the Cowboys as they lose their offensive coordinator. Expect this battery to continue to terrorize Big 12 defenses.

Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden said the departure of offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen will not have an impact on whether or not he returns for his senior season.

Weeden is 27 years old and his whiz OC just left. If he returns for his senior season then I will have clearly underestimated the nightlife of Stillwater.

Dana Holgorsen will remain as Oklahoma State's offensive coordinator for the Alamo Bowl.

This is obviously good news for the Pokes' offense after having been dealt a blow with Holgorsen moving on to West Virginia next season.

Oklahoma State whiz offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen denied rumors he was in Pittsburgh talking about the vacant Panther coaching job. He told The Oklahoman that he "was in Houston" all day.

Holgorsen's name will come up often until he decides he's found the right school to make his jump to the head coaching ranks.

Oklahoma State's record-setting wide receiver, Justin Blackmon, and starting quarterback Brandon Weeden are unsure about their futures, and each plans to consider the NFL Draft once the season concludes.

It would seem that Weeden (even at 27 years old) could use another year of seasoning. Our guess is that Blackmon will strike while the iron is hot. Either way we'll have to wait and see.
