After missing all of last season with a torn ACL, Utah State running back Robert Turbin is back at practice and is at full health. "I can run, jump, cut, twist, and fall. Whatever is asked of me, I can do" says Turbin.

Turbin was a fantasy superstar in 2009 and should be someone to watch this season. However, keep in mind that fellow backfield playmaker Diondre Borel is gone, so it will remain to be seen how that affects the Aggies' rushing attack as a whole.

With injuries to playmakers Robert Turbin, Stanley Morrison, and most recently Matt Austin, head coach Gary Andersen is having to get freshman Rashard Stewart on the field as soon as possible.  Stewart is listed as a cornerback but has practiced on both sides of the ball.

The big thing with Stewart will be where the coaching staff uses him the most.  If on offense, he could be an interesting sleeper next year or even later this year.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that running back Robert Turbin (over 1700 yards from scrimmage and 18 scores in 09) and wide receiver Stanley Morrison (33-613-3 in 09) are both unlikely to play this season. Turbin tore his ACL this past winter, while Morrison recently had foot surgery.

This news, while not entirely unexpected, is a blow for a Utah State team looking to take a step in 2010. Michael Smith is the leader to see a majority of carries, while Eric Moats and Mikhail Morgan should see a bump in catches.

If Utah State running back Robert Turbin (torn ACL) is not able to return to the field in 2010, the junior would be eligible to apply for a sixth year of eligibility.

It seems unlikely Turbin will be able to return this season, but he is a name to file away for 2011 if he doesn't make a return.

Turbin was the 9th best fantasy running back for the 2009 season, and this is a big blow to the Utah State program.

Utah State running back Robert Turbin had 190 yards and two touchdowns in tonight's win over San Jose State.

The passing game was non existent tonight, and Turbin single-handedly carried the Aggies to victory.  Too bad Boise St. is up next...Turbin should be decent, but don't expect him to replicate tonight's effort.

Utah State running back Robert Turbin could only manage 47 yards on 17 carries against BYU.

Turbin, who caught four balls for 116 yards and two scores against Southern Utah last week, was held to one catch against BYU. Though he struggled this week, look for Turbin to bounce back well.

Utah State sophomore tailback Robert Turbin opened eyes once more Saturday in a 38-30 road loss to the Texas A&M, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.

Believe it or not, through two games, Turbin is averaging 10.3 yards a carry, yet has never carried the ball more than 13 times.  Such stats emphasize the break away speed that Turbin possesses, with the sophomore now having taken a 96 yard run and 50 yard run in for a touchdown in Utah State's first two contests of the season.

Utah State running back Robert Turbin rushed for 148 yards on just 13 carries in Thursday night's loss to Utah.

Impressive numbers against a good Utah defense.  Keep an eye on how many carries Turbin gets though, as quarterback Diondre Borel is sure to see his fair share as well.
