Arizona's Nick Foles throws for 291 yards and 3 TDs in a 48-12 rout of visiting UCLA.

The yardage was Foles' second-lowest of the season. The difference Thursday was he and the Wildcats were not coming from behind and he had plenty of help from a running game that was 119th and next-to-last nationally coming in. Foles has thrown at least 3 TD passes in four games and has 18 on the season.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles looks to continue to put up huge passing numbers against a struggling Oregon State defense this Saturday.

Foles has put up 1,877 yards through the air this year, good for second in all of college football. He has also thrown for 14 TDs and 2 INTs, though the Wildcats have only managed one win this season. The senior threw for 425 yard and 4 TDs last week against USC in a 48-41 loss. Foles looks to poised to throw for huge numbers again this week, going against a Beaver defense ranked 62nd in total defense and 95th in points allowed.

Quarterbacks Nick Foles, Matt Scott and Bryson Beirne completed 79 percent of their passes and racked up 382 yards through the air in Saturday's spring game. The ball was spread around a quite a bit as usual with former quarterback Richard Morrison leading the way with 63 yards and two scores. Dan Buckner also caught a touchdown pass and finished with 57 yards receiving.

With receivers Juron Criner and David Douglas also returning, the Wildcats offense will be a veteran group in 2011. And that chemistry showed in Saturday's game.

Nick Foles - QB - Wildcats

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles plans to return to Arizona for his senior season and not enter the 2011 NFL Draft. “I plan on being back,” Foles said when asked of his future plans.

We've had the pleasure to meet a number of rabid Wildcat fans this year and I'm sure they'll be thrilled to have the strong-armed Foles back for another year.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles completed 22-of-36 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns in the overtime loss to Arizona State.  It was his third straight game with three passing touchdowns.

Foles finishes the regular season on a tear.  In his last three games he threw for 1,063 yards with nine touchdowns and only one interceptions.  He will most likely face a Big 12 team in the bowl season, so he could post some nice numbers; assuming he avoids the Nebraska defense that shut him out last bowl season.

If Foles returns for his senior campaign, then we're looking at one of the top BCS quarterbacks.

Nick Foles - QB - Wildcats

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles completed 32-of-48 passes for 353 yards and tied his season-high with three touchdowns in the loss to USC. 

Foles has now thrown 48 passes in each of the last two games but the Wildcats have lost both contests.  He looked fully recovered from his knee injury and could be looking at another shootout next weekend against Oregon.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles completed 28-of-48 passes for 248 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss at Stanford.

Foles was pressured all night and never got in a rhythm.  He almost was forced to leave the game with a left shoulder injury but battled through it with backup Matt Scott already out.  He is a much better quarterback in real life than fantasy (only 10 touchdowns) but he should have a monster game next weekend against a bad USC pass defense.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles (knee) was a full participant in practice Monday and is 100% healthy according to head coach Mike Stoops.

Well this should clearly indicate that Foles will start this weekend against Stanford barring an unexpected setback.  Matt Scott will move back into the backup role, but he should have earned some opportunities in special packages which should hurt Foles's value going forward.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles will regain his starting job this weekend against Stanford if he is healthy enough to play. 

He was seen warming up late in the fourth quarter against UCLA looked headed to running the two-minute offense until the Wildcat defense made a stop.  Matt Scott has been brilliant in his two starts but Foles still is the better option.  Expect Scott to still get some playing time as his legs can provide the Wildcats with a different way to attack defenses.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles (knee) will travel with the team and could play against UCLA. "I think Nick's ready to go," coach Mike Stoops said. "We're pleased with the progress he's made. We expect him to be 100 percent on Saturday." Stoops has yet to name a starter.

Stoops has been playing this one close to the vest for obvious reason. Foles and Matt Scott are two completely different quarterbacks and you may as well make the Bruins prepare for both.

The Tuscon Citizen reports that Arizona quarterback Nick Foles (knee) is deemed "questionable" for this week's game at UCLA by head coach Mike Stoops.

Though Matt Scott is a very different quarterback, the Cats are fortunate to have such a talented backup. Unless things change considerably between now and Saturday, fantasy owners should avoid Foles this week.

Arizona quarterback Nick Foles "is close" to returning according to head coach Mike Stoops.  He missed yesterday's win with a dislocated kneecap.

The performance of backup Matt Scott had to have the Wildcats pleased but Foles isn't going to lose the job.  Early speculation is that Scott will prepare to start the game this weekend but Foles should be healthy enough to come in should he falter.

The knee injury suffered by Arizona quarterback Nick Foles doesn't appear to be season-ending.  There is still no word on the exact injury but early indications were that it was a dislocated knee.

Foles should be out around three weeks if that prognosis turns out to be correct.  Since his game isn't built around speed, it shouldn't affect him once he returns to the field.  Hold onto him until the exact extent of the injury is known as he could be a valuable commodity come November.
