The additions of Toney Clemons, Travon Patterson, and Paul Richardson have made wide receiver one of Colorado's greatest strengths heading into the season.
Fantasy owners already know about Scotty McKnight, but given how anemic the offense was last season, it's only natural to wonder how many fantasy-worthy wideouts they can sustain in Boulder.  Clemons, a Michigan transfer, has generated a ton of buzz and is worth drafting in Big 12-only leagues and potentially in the late rounds of BCS leagues.  Take a wait and see approach on the others. Michigan transfer Toney Clemons is expecting to make an impact with Colorado this season.  "So, I call myself a difference-maker on and off the field, definitely," Clemons said.

It is hard to put much stock in the Buffs, a team that just hasn't been able to find its way under Dan Hawkins.  But it's a new year and anything can happen.

Former Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons, who transferred to Colorado and must now sit out 2009, is enjoying the change in coaching style, most notably the work head coach Dan Hawkins is doing with the wide receivers, telling The Daily Camera :  "I was in a situation that wasn't as positive, and the negative can really mess with your psyche.  When it's positive, it keeps you focused and lets you bounce back from bad plays...he's going to coach you before he cusses you out."

Clemons will likely not garner too much fantasy attention in 2010 unless the Buffs can show a marked improvement in the 2009 passing game, and this is what Dan Hawkins is planning to do.

Former Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons has decided to attend Colorado, and while he'll begin classes in June he will not be eligible for gridiron action until 2010.

We'll file Clemons' name away.

Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons has officialy decided to transfer. While he has not decided on a destination, Pittsburgh and West Virginia are possibilities.

Clemons caught 11 passes for 101 yards in 2008 and did not see himself as an integral part of the Wolverines offense this fall.
