Florida redshirt junior OL Matt Patchan will reportedly transfer to another program.
Beat writer Pat Dooley wrote that Patchan "will either transfer to Ohio State, where Urban Meyer is the coach, or Boston College, where Steve Addazio is the coach." The Florida Gator's defensive line depth has taken several blows in recent weeks. Defensive end Matt Patchan is out with a torn MCL and defensive tackle Brandon Antwine is doubtful with a sprained knee.

Antwine started in place of Lawrence Marsh, who was held out against FSU with a sprained knee. Head coach Urban Meyer expects Marsh to be back for the SEC title game against Alabama.
