According to ESPN, Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown has told coaches that he plans to enter the NFL Draft.

Southern Miss receiver DeAndre Brown finally saw the field and against Central Florida, he had 66 yards and a touchdown.

Brown is not worth picking up but hopefully he can bounce back for next year.

In yet another update on Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown, head coach Larry Fedora says "He’s got a few more reps today, got a little bit better.  He got some good work in. Everybody is biting at the bit. Who knows if it’ll be this week? We’ll make a decision toward the end of the week, but I think he’s getting closer."

Even if Brown does come back, he is not much of a fantasy consideration.

Southern Miss receiver DeAndre Brown practiced on Tuesday, but coach Larry Fedora questioned whether Brown would be able to make a significant contribution against Tulane.

Brown has been banged up all year and until he starts catching touchdown passes again, he's not a fantasy consideration.

Several Southern Miss players have been back at practice and could be ready for the game against UAB with the most notable players being receivers Quentin Pierce and DeAndre Brown.

If the Golden Eagles welcome back Pierce and Brown, it would be a huge boost to their passing game.  Expect Pierce to see the field but Brown to still be questionable.

Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown is no longer wearing a protective boot or using crutches to get around.

We'll have to wait and see if Brown, who has missed the last four games with a "lower leg" injury, is able to practice this week.

Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown was seen on crutches and a protective boot on Monday. "I’m not going to address his injury,” coach Larry Fedora said. “We’re just playing it day by day and we’ll just let the rumors run rampant.”

Brown's injury seems to be a tad more serious than just a leg strain. Based on the latest information, I don't expect to see Brown in the lineup anytime soon.

Again DeAndre Brown was a no-show, which led the way for Johdrick Morris to reel in five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown in a hard fought loss.

If Morris is listed as a tight end in your league, pick him up.

Southern Miss receiver DeAndre Brown (leg strain) is still a question mark this week against East Carolina. 

Brown has been able to take some reps in practice, but we don't have a definitive answer on whether he'll play this weekend.

Southern Miss receiver DeAndre Brown (leg strain) was able to practice on Tuesday. "He got some reps today," coach Larry Fedora said. "He moved around pretty good and ran well Sunday night. I'm very hopeful right now."

At this point we'll take a wait and see approach on Mr. Brown. Bottom line, he needs to get healthy and start producing.

Not much has gone right for Brown this season, and it's hard to recommend starting him with any confidence.

Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown (leg strain) missed the game against Louisiana Tech and has not been at practice and coach Larry Fedora is not sure when he will return.

Brown is loaded with talent, but he has had trouble staying healthy throughout his career.

Southern Miss wide receiver DeAndre Brown is "day-to-day" after suffering a lower leg strain in last week's win over Kansas.  "We're having to limit what reps we do (with Brown)," coach Larry Fedora said.

It sounds as if he'll play this week against Louisiana Tech, but won't be 100-percent.  He hasn't been completely healthy all year.

Southern Miss wideout DeAndre Brown had just three catches for 34 yards in a win over Kansas.

Much has been made recently of coach Larry Fedora's criticism of his star wideout, but Brown didn't have many opportunities in this one.  He still looks to be less than 100 percent at times, but he'll be tough to bench in any USM game from here on out based on the competition.
